Did you know that the movie version was digitadigitally manipulated, especially on that downward run you highlighted? That bar has eleven notes. The soprano hired for the job told them no human could sing that, and was assured not to worry since they would fix that on the computer.

In the movie, it’s computerized, but Dimash is better than the alien in the movie. He even goes higher at the end. An extraordinary feat indeed. However, this is not live, but a studio version recorded already in 2016. Dimash sings this song a semitone lower than the original and he simplifies several unsingable jumps from the original. But as you rightly say, he also makes some parts more complicated. The low part is an octave lower than in the original, and the D6 is Dimash´s add-on (the original ends on a B5).

Не совсем так. Песню Плавы Лагуны исполнила Inva Mula - албанская оперная певица (лирическое сопрано). Но потом да, доработали на компьютере.

No...he didn't just wake up one day and realised he could sing like this 🤗❗🥰 Dimash has been voice training with various voice coaches (to learn and improve on new techniques) since the age of 5...still voice trains at least 3 hours every day 💞💞💞 Additionally, he got formal music education and earned his double bachelors plus masters degrees in music...soon to become Dr Dimash with a PhD in musicology 💕🎼💖 He also used to do taekwondo and swim...currently still swims regularly (including long underwater swims) to improve his lung capacity and physical strength for singing 😍🎶🤩 Dimash takes his God Given Gifts very seriously and works hard to get this amazingly unbelievably great at his craft and artistry. I admire that as much about him as his singing...he truly has so many qualities to admire 🌹❣🌹

Dimash's mom is an opera star. When he was four, she took him to her rehearsal, and one of the vocal coaches took him aside to keep him entertained. She came out to announce he didn't have perfect pitch, but a step beyond that to absolute pitch = never going off key. So at age 5 he was the youngest to enter the Kazakh music school.

With DIMASH's vocal range he is able to make his voice sound like several music instruments. He also can play several stringed instruments and the piano in grand fashion. His music videos show off his acting skills, which are very good; many dears are convinced he could be the,next JAMES BOND as well as sing the title song for the movie. Once you see some of these Music Videos you will understand where that comes from. They are perfection.from DIMASH. He surrounds himself with the best talent to create with and those people are dedicated to him, like one big family.

In the movie, parts were digitized, because even Dimash couldn't hit the note sequence that the blue alien does. But the way he arranges this fabulous. This is my favorite version. He has sung the full aria before, but the video quality is terrible and you can't see his face, but you can recognise his voice. Floston Paradise, 5th Element is one of my favorite movies. I remember seeing it in the theater.

If you’re only listening to Diva Dance, this version is one of my favourites, but in 2017, Dimash was on a Chinese show called Singer and did a pre-song of Confessa before Diva Dance and I love it. Rumor has it that he will be back in the US for a concert in September, perhaps? I was at the one in NYC in 2019 - blew me away. Sold out the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn with people from around 56 countries. I'm guessing LA will be the next US site. You MUST make plans to be a the next concert!

I thought that you knew the version of this in the 5th Element was computer-generated. Wait until you hear vocalize "Ava Maria." Dimash has been studying music since he was three learning the piano. He began his music studies at the age of five. One half of the day in academic studies, and the other half in music. He now has a Ph.D and still does vocal training for 3-4 hours every day. He stated that since he was two, he has never wanted to do anything other than sing. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.

He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. That's why he's trained to sing so high. There is a video out there where Dimash does the entire aria where he does the first part in his tenor voice and the second part (Diva Dance) exactly as you heard here. It's a difficult video to find and it's a lower quality fan cam.
