Hi, Alison. You are taken by Dimash, I dare say. Understandably so. Dimash has really sacrificed, given everything to have achieved this absolute remarkable vocal range. He has clearly worked equally hard at how he presents himself wherever he goes, include presence both on and off the stage. He portrays to everyone, young and old, the importance of respect and love. I totally agree that he has the entire package as an artist. What a gem he is to this "sinful" world.

Welcome back Alison great song choice to come back to for sure, I always enjoy watching people discovering Dimash and his immense ability. His cover of this song is amazing just as you would expect for sure just as his 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival Version of Ikanaide (Autumn Strong) is very impressive. It is actually interesting to contrast that with the original singer Koji Tamaki. They take quite different approaches to it to suit each voice and interpretation. Glad to see you back and recovered and looking forward to more reactions.

G'day Alison, Sorry you're sick, hope you get well soon. A Dimash performance will certainly make you feel better. I love watching these Dimash reactions because you don't need words, the look on your face says it all, in a nice way of course. Everyone has run out of superlatives to describe his performances and rightly so. Now I only ask this question because you are younger than my own children and I know they would not have a clue. Have you heard of an Australian band from the 60's called The Seekers. They actually out sold the Beatles back in the day. The reason being that Judith Durham's 1st-year anniversary of her passing is a couple of days away so I thought a reaction as a tribute to her would be nice. Here's a link to a song I'm confident you'll know -

Great reaction Alison. No matter what performance of Dimash you watch you will be at a loss for words. Don't worry it happens to everyone. I'm from North Carolina USA 🇺🇸

Love is Like a Dream follows this perfectly. A beautiful ballad by Igor, his piano player, full of rich chocolatey notes. Then a truly transcendent moment that will lift you up even more than this. Somehow

This is a cover of Sinful Passion originally by A´Studio. The bass and the piano players were part of that band and the second was one of the songwiters.

I'm glad you didn't go straight to the most recent performances, because he is always improving, so older songs, though great in their own right can sometimes suffer in comparison. This concert had the Kazakh band A-Studio with a variety of singers taking the place of the band's singer who had died. This song was written by the pianist, and the concert was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up at the end of the performance - composer/promoter Igor Krutoy. After this, Igor and Dimash started working together, at first covering songs that Krutoy had written for singer Lara Fabian, and then composing music specifically for Dimash's voice - so you will see them together often on those songs with Krutoy on the piano. That last section of this song, from the time Dimash started jumping up and down 'til the end of the runs, was 23 sec. on 1 breath. For a performance from around the same time period where Dimash inserts some ethnic vocal styling, see his guest performance at Singer 2018 (the year after he competed on that show), with his unique cover of Lionel Richie's "Hello".

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Hi Alison, it sounds as though you haven't heard much about Dimash's version of "Sinful Passion" originally composed by Baigali Serkebayev (at keyboards) and performed in 1998 by a Kazakhstan band, A-Studio. To honor the song and band, Dimash, also from Kazakhstan) asked the band to play the song on the stage with Dimash. The tribal/ethnic riff section that Dimash sang was sung as a tribute and to pay respect to Batyr Shukenov, who died in 2015. You may already know that Dimash has so many different sounds because he has been taking singing and piano lessons since he was 5 years old when his teacher discovered he had perfect pitch. He has earned his first University Bachelor's Degrees in Classical Music (Opera) at the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe and his second Bachelor's Degree at the Contemporary Music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. On 18 June 2020, he graduated from the same university with a Master's Degree in Composition by defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score. Although Dimash was invited to enter the Ph.D. Program in Classical Music (Opera) in 2020, he received the Bolashak International Scholarship In December 2022, where he is studying for at least one year in "directing" at the New York Academy of Film (I believe that's the correct name of the school). I found these references from Wikipedia. Dimash has so many colors (sounds) to his voice as I believe he is trying to create his own genre he calls "Neo-Classical" which is a mixture of Opera, Pop, and other musical genres. As you can tell, I'm an enormous fan and huge admirer of his vocal technique. I hope you and your subscribers found this info interesting. I did the best I could, in terms of accuracy, at 1:14am 😁

Next react to “Ikanaide” from Tokyo Jazz festival (it was during Covid so his performance was shot in the studio with lots of extreme closeups where you see him perfectly emoting). He is mesmerizing in that performance. And it is a gorgeous and very romantic Japanese song.
