Dimash himself has made professional decisions about his career that have kept him from being better known in the Americas and other western countries. He is fiercely independent and is (thankfully) unwilling to allow music conglomerates to take control over the complexity and creativity of his music. That being said, Dimash has fan clubs in over 150 countries (that's almost all of them!) and routinely draws fans from 60-70 countries to his sold out, nearly four hour concerts no matter where in the world he performs-----and he has done so in New York, London, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Dubai, Turkey, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Latvia, Belarus and numerous of the other former Russian republics. Thanks to youtube there are plenty of westerners who know and love Dimash, and we---and people like you---are slowly but surely spreading the word about him to others via the social sites we use.

I hope you continue with Dimash. I’ve followed him since 2017 when he was on a Chinese singing competition called Singer. I happened to see him sing Adagio on KZread. I’ve been watching ever since. Best singer in my 79 years. We’re just waiting for him to break through in the US. He did have a sold out concert in New York before the pandemic. He has also met with US composers. As you’ve been told, he is known everywhere, just not by everybody. He has millions of fans and is loved dearly. He also happens to be a kind, polite, respectful young man . Some suggestions..Ave Maria, Stranger(New Wave), Adagio, All By Myself(Singer), Love of Tired Swans(Kremlin), Olympico(New York concert). He sings all genres of music including rap. Try Be With Me(music video), a very different side of Dimash’s. He can’t be put in box. Have fun.

Hello from Baltimore, MD. Dimash does not get any air time here in the US because he is a man of integrity and will not sign with any record company here. He does not want to relinquish control of his music or his and have anyone tell him what, when, and how to sign. He built his own recording and music center at his home and his work is controlled by him and his dad. He not only has great range, but perfect pitch and complete control of his voice. He is very humble, and loves his family, his country, and his "Dears", a term he applied to his fans. He does not consider himself a star, he says they are in the heavens. He still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day. I hope you do Adagio, Love Is Like A Dream, and Ikanaide. Sinful Passion will really leave you speechless. Thank you so much.

I just discovered your channel. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. Russian audiences are more reserved, but that doesn't mean they don't love Dimash. They just don't show it that way. Like I said, it's a cultural thing. If you had watched the video to the end, you would have seen it. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country (and he still does). And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. Please also react to The Singer competition as soon as you can. Please react to Sinful Passion next. And watch the videos from start to finish and you will see how kind and lovely he is. And I always recommend turning on the subtitles, if available. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. If possible, always watch the videos from start to finish. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. These last three mentioned songs are mind-blowing and will leave you speechless. I promise. Sinful Passion: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iW16zqaGc9KefLg.html If you like some really great fancam versions then I recommend the one from the Moscow concert: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6yAytmfdqm7gdY.html Or another one from the Arnau concert: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i355zqmBYsvXpdo.html They are all a bit different. For later😉 Olimpico: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html Stranger: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nnqnpJeBhtHTg6Q.html Ave Maria: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n4B7mslrn9Ksg6Q.html I’m glad you discovered Dimash and I hope you continue to react to videos of him. You are just at the beginning and you will discover so many completely different and incredible songs yet if you are willing to continue on this emotional ride. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

With this song, you just wet your fingertips in the ocean under the name Dimash... React further to it and millions of Dimash fans will simply blow up your channel with hundreds of thousands of views and subscriptions. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast Ocean of pleasures. Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien. When heard Dimash sing, I thought that he was not human. When heard what he said in an interview, realized that Dimash is more of a human than all of Us.

This song is a pearl of the French songbook: It is a French-Canadian cyberpunk-rock opera called “Starmania”, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Gregory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the afflicted character: From the chest voice to the head voice and then to falsetto, the author sought to show a broad need to overcome a moment of despair and the pretense of accepting to reach a higher perspective! Dimash, currently at his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who have departed this world! Original version - Daniel Belavoine - kzread.info/dash/bejne/a5-O16ahpbfRqKg.html

He is a once-in-a-lifetime artist & talent. He does have a reported 7.7 octave range & sings all genres of music ftom Opera to pop & everything in between & he even raps in some songs. He is also a multi-instrumentalist & sings in 14+ languages even though he speaks only 2 fluently - Kazakh & Russian - and is on the way to being fluent in English. He also speaks some Mandarin but is still learning. This is in Russia, where the audience is much more reserved than in the US. I myself am from Germany and to be honest, I never understood why Americans always have to shout and scream so much, missing half of what the artist is doing instead of silently enjoying the song, paying respect to the artist and his work DURING the performance and THEN applaud and scream. In Spain I once witnessed a classic guitar player stop his performance and leave the stage because the (mainly US American) audience wouldn‘t stop talking to each other while he was playing.

Great and true reaction and comments. This is the same song that I discovered Dimash and instantly got hooked and fell in love with his out of this wolrd voice. Dimash was born with musical talent. Both his parents are honored singers in Kazakhstan. He also worked very hard to train his voice and the control of his voice. Some reactors of this same song, commented that his dog is doing back flips. Some can't believe a man (male singer) can hit such high note. Dimash doesn't think his vocal range is the "big deal", because he only sings what the song requires. Range wasn't the most important aspect for him. yes, there are others who can hit the highs and the lows, but Dimash's voice always remain pure and warm and never brassy or piercing to the listeners. You should check out his performance of "Unforgettable Day" the Gakku concert version. BTW, Dimash wrote Unforgettable Day when he was still a teenager. Have fun.

Yes, Dimash has many genres, and in them uses many textures, and vocal varieties, as well as range, but what he also does is absorb the emotions of the songs and passionately pours them out of his soul through his amazing vocals. I’m from SoCal, and I have been following his music for three years and just like you, with everything that is available to me in SoCal, where Hollywood is, I have found Dimash to be the best singer I have ever heard on the planet! Great reaction, thank you!😊

He’ s famous in Asia and Eastern Europe, but you know the West pays little attention to the rest of the world. He’s gaining traction, though. He also wants to control his own career. They don’t give standing ovations over there, but they do rush to the stage with flowers. He sends those on to hospitals and nursing homes. Please review more performances. Not only is his voice out of the world, but so is his range in genres.

I found Dimash a bit over 7 years ago, on the second episode of the Singer Series done in China. It's where he busted out to the whole world. I came across a Thumbnail that said,,, "Best Winger in the World". I said to myself,,, "ok, I'll just check it out". And that's how you can discover all kinds of things,,, you see it offered up, and you give it a try. Now, I feel like it just hasn't been a good day unless I tune into some Dimash. I hope you enjoy all that he has to offer. He has so many different performances , that you constantly are amazed. Have fun!!!

Why Dimash is not known in every crevice of this planet? That is a good question, I am asking this myself every day😅. Must have to do with the music industry. Dimash is trying his best to be an independent artist as long a possible, to be in control of his music and the music corporations just don't like that. I wonder why😅

In Belarus where this performance took place the audience do not jump about during a performance. They are very respectful to the wrtisst and sit and listen quietly. After the performances they will approach the stage with flowers after applauding. They did make a bit of noise for Dimash but no one jumps around like a lunatic, its considered to be not very respectful. They are appreciative, respectful and I might suggesta little more refined than some Western audiences. The same goes for most other post Soviet, Chinese and some other Asian countries.

Thank you, Wise, for your reaction here, and welcome to Dimash World. You are now a Dear -- Dimash's own term for his fans. Having been on the Dimash train for the past 5 years or so, I am always heartened and pleased to see others discovering this phenomenal performer for the first time. All I'll say here is that you ain't seen nothing yet, so buckle up! Now, about them not standing and such -- different peoples are differently enculturated, so what we're dealing with here isn't some issue with them, but rather an issue with your cultural blinders. Don't feel bad -- a LOT of viewers from other cultures have this very same reaction. It's just something to adjust in your own viewing, though. They don't do standing ovations much, if at all. It's just not in their culture. It ain't there. Flowers, on the other hand -- well, you paused the video at the end, literally just a few seconds before the standard crop of young women ran up to the stage with a billion gazillion flowers for Dimash, & as a feature of this one performance especially, also those same few seconds before the announcer commented jokingly on there now being no flowers left at all for another very popular local performer. Don't worry : Dimash gets *mountains* of flowers, even from those people there who don't stand. As my mother would always say, "Hide and watch." You'll see. :) With all that said, your reaction was a lot like mine was at first and has remained. Yes, I do believe Dimash has the best human voice currently on Earth. Sure, I'll be glad to modify that opinion, just as soon as someone shows me a better voice. I had the same opinion, with the same caveat, 5 years or so ago when I first discovered Dimash. No one's shown up -- not that it's impossible, but it hasn't happened yet. Again, thanks for your reaction here. I *love* seeing new folks show up to this phenomenal party. Cheers.

I'm told Asian and Slavic audiences tend to be less demonstrative with applause? However, if you would watch the whole video, you would see that Dimash receives plenty of flowers for this performance and others. He also takes time to thank his fellow musicians, which is nice to see and a shame to cut off.

He is the BEST singer on the planet. Best singer that ever was or ever will be. That is why I listen to him everyday since I discovered him 2 1/2 years ago. I agree with you about “Why are these people still in their seats”? And, why was there a “modest clap”? I would have been staynding and not wanting to disrupt, wait until he finishes to clap like crazy. Many performances, I have seen the audience getting loud at the end, clapping loudly, and younger people that can run, run up to the stage to give him flowers before he leaves the stage. You must watch “Sinful Passions”, Love is like a Dream”, “Ave Maria”, “Unforgettable Day”, “ Ikanaide”, “Daybreak”, “Passione”, “Idaho” “Olympico” “El Amor En Ti”, “Endless Dimensions”, “Mademoiselle Hyde”, ….. Dimash sings in 13 or 14 languages. The languages that he is fluent in are Kazakh, Russian, Chinese, English. Also, you need to watch him in the Chinese singing competition “I am Singer” in 2017.. look for the one on MangoTV channel 50 min. This has the songs he sang back to back without the shows interruptions. At that time he didn’t speak Chinese nor English but he sang in these languages. He also sang in French, Italian, Kazakh, Russian on the show. Dimash won his country’s piano competition at age 6 or 7. He plays the Dombra, piano, drums, and other instruments.

Wonderful reaction - please continue - maybe with „Stranger“. The russian cultur is very reserved in behavior - they express their love not with standing ovations, but with flowers. And Dimash gets many, many, many, many Flowers 😂 I would hardly recommend not to cut before or at the end - because it could be you would miss some funny or important - so also the flowers . By the way - he donates them to Hospitals, elderly homes and so on. Love from Austria/Europe 🇦🇹

In some cultures, people remain quiet and seated during the performance out of respect for the performer, as well as the audience, or because any outward display of emotions is considered inappropriate. Others simply want to catch and absorb every second of the performance rather than clap, cheer, or sing along and thus be a distraction. Audiences also frequently show their appreciation after the performance by simply clapping and/or yelling "bravo," all the while remaining seated, or by bringing a bouquet of flowers to the stage at the conclusion of the concert. Having been born and raised in Europe (Germany), I never got used to the way Americans act at concerts. To me, it is not very enjoyable. I came to see and hear the performer, not the audience around me. I also do not appreciate people going crazy after a performance. My joy is internalized rather than turned into an external display. Art, to me, is a very emotional experience that is celebrated quietly in my heart and soul. We are all different.
