Not long ago I had something of a short "argument" with a Dimash hater. That person replied to one of my comments and told me that if it weren't for the use of technology and audio tricks like delay to produce reverbs, Dimash's voice wouldn't sound as great as his fans say it is. I only answered him this: If there has ever been a single voice on this planet that deserves to be repeated eternally as an echo, that voice is Dimash's. After that I didn't recieve any other reply.

Thank you for your heartfelt appreciation and reaction to this beautiful Ukranian song. As a tribute and respect for his Ukrainan fans, he learnt the lyrics and melody of this traditional song, the day and evening, before this concert in Kiev. It is his mum, Sveta, in the audience who is weeping. She said she usually keeps her emotions in check at his concerts, but with this song, she couldn't hold it in. The audience know this song very well.

His honor and respect for his mother, father, siblings and grandparents is stunning! Although he acknowledges the crowd, he bows to his mother- Stunning! He's not only a remarkable talent, dedicated and committed, he is a remarkable human being - in a recent competition, he was asked 2 things he didn't want - 'pink clothes and don't paint my eyes(lids)' - too funny - he has multiple charities, which is almost unheard of with North American celebrities, and the flowers are all donated to hospitals, nursing homes and those in need - remarkable - and he is not the one who will tell you any of this

If I'm not mistaken, the song Marigolds is originally from the folklore of Ukraine, Dimash in his concert Arnau wanted to incorporate a song in Ukrainian and on the plane heading to the concert in Kiev (Ukraine) he chooses to sing this song to please the Dears of Ukraine already to pay tribute to his mother who has a part of Ukrainian family descent. I think it was a surprise for her mother to hear him sing this song to the point that she makes her cry. Greetings from Panama.

This flower is sacred in China and not everyone is allowed to sing this song. But Dimash, as always, performed it amazingly ... I saw three options, I advise you to listen to this song performed by Dimash with a famous Chinese singer. Another masterpiece !!! Greetings from Kazakhstan !!!

Dimash sings it here, in Kiev/ Ukraine. That’s is the last concert from his world -tour ARNAU before Corona everything paralyzed. The Dears gave him a traditional Ukrainian shirt at the airport reception and Dimash wore it to everyone's amazement and delight at the opening of this concert. His mom is in the audience. She is a well-known and excellent classical singer in Kazakhstan. Dimash learned this Ukrainian folk song overnight for his Dears and he also sings to his mama… so touching. ARNAU - that means 'Dedication' because Dimash dedicated this tour to his Dears. Unfortunately it will be interrupted for over 2 years. The next concerts of his Arnau tour are planned for next spring (2022) in Düsseldorf / Germany and in Prague / Czechoslovak Republic. I keep my ticket like a treasure and can't wait to drive from Berlin to Prague in April.

Dimash has a very special affection for the dears. He decided to sing this song the day before the concert. He talked with the pianist to know if he could do it. The pianist agreeded. Then they discussed how to do the song and he began to memorize the lyrics. He wanted to sing a special song for the dears from Ukraine. In another city, the dears left an embroidered shirt from their region as a gift to him in his dressing room. What was their surprise when he walked on stage wearing the shirt. When he's at home, he often takes selfies or gives interviews wearing clothes the dears gave him. There is one that I especially like. Says: "A dear is someone who knows my songs and sings it to me when I forgot.." Hug from Brazil!

That is true, Dimash builds a very special relationship (from the bottom of his heart) with the audience, and treats us so dearly, that is why he calls us his Dears 🥰💗💓 You are his Dear too, and Lucas too 😎 Thank you for the beautiful comments about our dear Dimash 🥰🌹

Thank you for a heartfelt reaction! Dimash has told he likes to sing songs about a mother the most but he rarely does because it's hard - they make him so emotional. This was Dimash's last concert before the quarantine in Kiev, Ukraine. Dimash wanted to sing this beloved Ukrainian song to honor the audience and his own mother who was in the audience. Yes, that beautiful lady crying is his mother Sveta (Svetlana).

I have an urban garden. And that day was just my birthday and I was also sad because my mother was in poor health and she really liked working in the orchards and gardens. From there I inherited the taste. That same day, I was shocked to hear this song by Di .. Then I went out to see my plants, and the marigols had blossomed. I cried my nose and I rarely cry. I don't know what this boy has ... He is a wizard of coincidences. For that and more I love him.

First time tge camera is on Svetlana, you can see she has a bouquet of marigolds. Dimash and the pianist had to learn this song overnight as a surprise for her and the Ukrainian audience.

Thank you for doing this reaction. It's so heartwarming. If you could listen to Dimash's performance together with his parents and his Mentors at his Bastau concert in 2017. You'll really hear where all that talent came from and who honed it.

A very popular song particularly in the Ukraine. Dimash performs this so tenderly and with so much love and his mother’s love and pride shines through every shot. Beautiful! I tear up every time I hear this one.

The most funny about this song is that he learned to sing before the concert without tell to his mother, for making a surprise for her. That is why she is crying.

Thank you so much for your reactions to Dimash. I find them very interesting. Listening to music is one of the greatest joy for me and your commentary taught me so many interesting details. It helps me to understand and appreciate the creativity, hard work that goes into producing every song. You two are funny too.

Thanks for another great reaction. Marigold is a Ukrainian folk song and Dimash only learned the song the night before the performance No one knew he was going to sing it so it was a complete surprise to everyone including his mother. That’s why she was so visibly moved when he sang it for her and to her.

What does the marigold symbolize? Marigolds were often linked to the powerful strength of the sun and represent power, strength, and light that lives inside of a person. The marigold has also come to symbolize a feeling of despaired love. If someone has lost someone they love, whether it be by death or a broken relationship.

This is a well-known folk song in the Ukraine (where this performance was) The marigold (chornobryvtsi) is one of their national symbols and is often mentioned in songs, poems, and tales. Dimash wanted to learn a song to sing especially for this audience, so this is the one he chose (and I think basically learned it overnight). The audience would be very familiar with it. Dimash is quoted in an interview: "Dimash: I sang a song ""Chernobrivtsi" ("Marigold") in Ukrainian at that concert I wanted to prepare a small surprise for my Ukrainian audience and in a couple of hours before the concert I managed to learn it - Did you prepare it beforehand or was it impromptu? Impromptu." From: Dimash' interview to Russian radio December 26 2020 Here's what the stage director for the concert said about it: "Concert stage director, Anna Oboyanskaya, recalls with a bright smile: “One of the most melodic songs in the world. Dimash decided to perform the song “Chernobrivtsі” at the Kiev concert. Of course, I helped him with the accent and correct pronunciation of Ukrainian words. His performance was impeccable and very sincere. After this concert, thanks to Dimash, the song “Chornobrivtsi” became a favorite in different parts of the world.” Article from Dimashnews: en.dimashnews.com/ukrainian-tv-channel-inter-will-broadcast-dimashs-kiev-concert/
