Hi, Jordan! At least a couple times a week for Dimash ♥️. Please, do another reaction to this song from Bastau concert. Dimash was sick at this time. You can compare how he interprets it in a better health situation. Thank you 😊

You should react at least twice or Three times a week and definitely more Dimash.

He had laryngitis during this performance - you can sort of hear it in his voice. You should also react to *Daybreak (Bastau concert 2017)* - that version is spectacular - he was in top shape there (vocally) .

Actually Dimash was in physical pain. The morning of the broadcast he woke up, no voice. He was rushed to the hospital to get injections, doctor warned him to not do high notes. Yet someway or other he pushed through. If you want to hear his best version watch his performance at Bastau. I will send the link.

He had to endure quite a lot in order to complete this concert, and I think the only way he managed to do it was that powerful determination of his to "NEVER DISAPPOINT!"

Actually, even if he sang way better vocally in Bastau, this performance was somehow more powerful emotionally. He must have been in great pain singing those high notes with laryngitis. That pain added to the emotion. So this performance is my favourite, in spite of some disturbances from his sickness.

What this did not tell you is that he lost his voice the night before and he ended up at the hospital. I would love for you to do a daily reaction but that's probably not realistic lol. Great job Schnell.💕

He was actually in physical pain... he lost his voice before the performance day... later in interview he said his throat felt like a broken glass even whille singing. In my oppinion that gives the performance even more emotions and makes me really appreciate his dedication to every single song he sings

Excellent reaction. I appreciate that you take in the majority of the performance before reacting. Many reactors kill the flow and vibe of the song with the frequency and bad timing of their pauses. Well done!

The majority of people recommend to view his Bastau performance, which technically is better, but I much prefer the Singer 2017 performance (with the background story on Gloria Wu's channel) because of the hurdles, pressure, and context of what he had to go through: 1) he lost his voice the day before and was warned not to sing high notes; 2) Han Hong (original songwriter and singer) called him to support him; 3) the courage of Dimash to push through the performance despite being sick , the pressure of the competition, unwillingness to disappoint the new fans, and the challenge of singing the notes he wanted/needed to do to give the emotion that this song deserved. The Singer 2017 performance of this song is far more meaningful to me than the better technical performance at Bastau. Gloria's channel with the backstories of Autumn Strong, Daybreak, Daididau and many other videos since then makes us appreciate Dimash so much more.

I'm sure this has been already recommended, but his Bastau performance is the one to see. He was sick during this performance on the singer, and while he still gave a great perfromance, he did throttle back a bit on both the vocals and his physical expression. It's not a huge difference, but at his level, all you get are the very smallest of imperfections, anyway..... btw, nice T-shirt....very apropos for a Dimash performance, given that those words describe the person that is Dimash

This song should be listened to later. According to some information in this song, he was not completely healthy, there is a video where he turned to Chinese doctors about his throat. As others have commented you also should watch Daybreak live at Bastau. This song is written from the little boys point of view and you experience it as how it was meant to be. This is a beautiful version and you can see Dimash is almost crying to convey the emotion and does a fantastic job but he uses his voice in the other one more for the emotional. You cannot watch one without the other.

Dear Schnell, sadly people didn't tell you to watch the back story about this song on the channel Gloria Wu. She has stories and performance videos with subtitles of his non English songs from Singer. The day of the performance he lost his voice & was taken to the hospital & given throat injections & a warning to not push high notes. The story also shows things about Dimash's family & that Han Hong, the woman who wrote the song & first sang it & adopted the orphan boy called Dimash thanking him for the plan to sing it. Then at the end of this performance he hid that he was in severe pain & lost his voice again. Even though I just told you it would still be worth watching yourself & reacting to his Bastau version where he was healthy. I think if you had known you would have probably been unable to stop crying like me (as an emotional woman) every time I hear the song.
