Now that you understand the story behind "Daybreak" you should listen to Dimash's "Bastau Concert" version. With his throat better, his performance is out of this world. Also in the same concert "Kasakistan Song" & "Daididau" are also fabulous songs not to be missed. 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

That's not his Dad, but his friend and artist too,Alai , translator and manager during the show. I think he is Kazakh, who lives in China. 😊 The other Chinese guy, Jason, is his Co-contestant and all the contestants were in very good rapport with each other and some are friends till date. ❤

Jenny, what a surprise !!!!!!! So nice for you to reply to my comment (from 3 years ago!) . 🙂 Jenny, I just listened to Dimash sing this again and of course I was tearing up. I hope you are doing well. I am worried about him right now because of all the unrest in his part of the world. Jenny, I love Dimash not only because he is a wonderful singer but because he is such a beautiful human being. I haven't been following him lately mainly because my heart has found love from another singer and what distinguishes the singer is she is also a wonderful singer, like Dimash (although their styles are 180 degrees apart!) and she is a beautiful human being, like Dimash. Perhaps you know her. Her name is Angelina Jordan. She has been singing since she was 7 years old (she won Norway's Got Talent which she entered when she was 7) and she is now 17. Let me know if you have discovered her and, if you haven't, I will suggest some of her music I would want you to listen to. Believe me, Jenny, when you listen to her, even at 7 years old, you would think she's a grown woman. The soulfulness in her voice is something I've never heard before and she touches your heart when you hear her sing. I just realized I never subscribed to your channel from 3 years ago! I just subscribed! 🙂Angelina will bring you joy, and hope, and love and she will inspire you to be the best you can be as a kind, caring and loving human being. That's what she does. I'm getting up there in years (I've been around the block a few times) and I know one day, don't know when, the two of them will meet one day to encourage all the people of the world to join together to face a situation which needs all of us to address and we need to love one another in order to be successful. this song always make me cry, and i have problems crying for almost anything. for some reason, a bunch of Dimash's songs make me very emotional...no matter how many times i watch them. so...hahaha...this is gonna sound very strange...i use Dimash's songs as an outlet to cry when i have not cried in a long time :D

Thank you Jenny, when the song was finished Dimash didn't show that he was in severs pain in his throat from singing and he actually lost his voice again from singing. He recovered for the following week performance. I am glad I warned you anyway because every time I hear it I can't stop crying. The woman and boy at the end was Han Hong and the orphan she adopted.

Dimash sang mane of the songs she wrote ( she wrote songs and musics) for exemple Mademoiselle Hyde, or Adagio are from Lara Fabian. prepare tissues and find her 2001 live of : Je suis malade with english subtitles ... the 2010 in moscow is even better but i don't find it with subtitles.

You're lucky you started with a Gloria Wu video. Since the new season of Singer is underway, unless you use the Singer videos from Gloria Wu's channel or Dimash's own channel they will probably issue a copyright strike. It happens every year, and it's too bad it prevents people from following Dimash's evolution. For something different with a surprise in it you could try "Screaming - Idol Hits".
