He has a song “Omir” that Dimash wrote for his fans, he calls Dears, for his 29th birthday in it he is playing keyboard and his brother Manseur, is playing guitar. So it is Dimash “unplugged.”😊

"A real Kazakh is a dombra." The dombra is the national instrument of Kazakhstan, and is found in nearly every home and taught in schools. There is an annual Dombra Day. Dimash has a whole collection of dombras, gifted to him by Dears from around the world. Here is Dimash and composer Renat Gaissan's River of Love. You have not heard anything yet. I mean so many genres, so many languages. The instrument Dimash is playing is a Dombra. 2 stings. You will love the Qobyz which is another traditional Kazakh instrument that only has two stings but is so unique and has the most beautiful and haunting sound. Dimash does not play it but his good friend plays with him in concert and various songs etc. Check out Stranger by Dimash. You must see it. Watch carefully when the Qobyz is being shown and the placement of the fingers. The fingers do not touch the grid? It is I believe my favorite instrument.

Yes.No point in comparisons nor competition. Dimash is, quite simply, in a total league of his own. 😄 {This genre skipping version of Duradai is quite recent,and fun, but I still prefer the more traditional performance. }
