Thank you @lindajones6251 and @zemanoshtronz for suggesting this song! Also, @zemanoshtronz I will be reacting to Koji Tamaki's original relatively soon. Aside from Dimash being amazing as usual, I really loved the melody.

In this performance Dimash demonstrates that...not only does he have an extratospheric vocal range, not only an out-of-this-world vocal technique, but also the soul he puts into his work. Wonderful Dimash!! Thanks for your reaction.

Dimash Qudaibergen is the best voice on planet Earth.. many believe the greatest voice of all time. He sings to our hearts and our souls and gives chills and goosebumps to those who listen.. even after you've heard him a hundred times. He lights our fire and brings new joy to old men and women who have lost their love for music.. I know because I am one of them.. and he inspires younger folk to do more and reach higher just by his mere presence. Dimash's heart lives where the angels live.. he shines his light into the dark and says "Make way.. my heart feels the presence of life." Dimash is a musical magician who's demeanor of star dust and gold rubs off on all who surround him… and on all those who listen to his voice.

I'm not worried at all. I've heard them now so many times that I can sing half of the song in sort-of Japanese myself. 😉 That will be useful when I react to Koji Tamaki's original shortly. This was just the first time I couldn't possibly concentrate on the words first time listening as it would take away from the insanity that Dimash is producing with his voice.

This song is sooo beautiful❤️. And he performed it with so much emotions. You literally can feel his pain😪. His first song in Japanese. He has been invited to perform at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021. But he couldn't go to Japan because of Covid. So he had to sing it from the studio in China. There he took part in the show Shine! Super Brothers. I’m not sure but I think it was his studio in China. But I do know he got a studio as a gift for his birthday. If the Japanese reactors are to be believed, Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅. Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills (like so many others). It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favorite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

So good to hear, well, all of what you just said. Japan sounds like a place I'd like, but even more importantly, your success there is something very hard to achieve. Huge congratulations on that! 😁 I don't know which version I like better, Dimash's is so much softer and technically much more complex, but Koji reached into my heart and tore it out of my chest. Same as with some songs by Lara performed by Dimash - both versions are amazing, probably because they are so different.

Hi 👋 my first time seeing your reaction to this phenomenal artist. I love this song so much that I learned the Japanese lyrics. This song is actually based on a true story of an actress who became famous & popular in China during WW.1, but it was discovered toward the end of the war that she had Japanese heritage & she was banished from China because of that, never to return. Beautiful, beautiful song, made even more beautiful by Dimash. Thank you so much 😊🙏💞

This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!".
