Great reaction. Yes, Dimash is very proud of his Kazakh heritage and his Kazakh root while respecting all other countries and all other people and culture. You can feel his heartfelt love for his land. It is so rare nowadays an artist as unique as Dimash. I love this song. He sang with such tenderness and also power, and then the breathiness down to a whisper. Love and respect for Dimash.

When he sings in his native language about his beloved land he seems to even sing better .if that is possible

It would be nice if our artists would show half the respect that Dimash shows towards everything. He seems to be a kind and respectful man but no push over for sure.

Definitely one of my favorite songs. The original singer is Batyrkhan Shukenov, a Russian/Kazakh singer who was the lead singer of A'Studio. You reacted to the song Sinful Passion which Dimash sang. Batyrkhan is one of Dimash's favorite artists, sadly he died in 2015.

Batyr has never been a Russian singer. From 2007 to 2015, Batyrkhan Shukenov was the cultural adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. On November 20, 2009, on the day of celebration of the 20th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Shukenov was announced by the Representative Office of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Kazakhstan as the UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassador in Kazakhstan. And a year later, on November 20, 2010, in this capacity he became a member of the Honorary Ball Committee of the Charity Ball in Almaty. A-Studio - it is short from Almaty - Studio. He was one of a founders and the soloist. Before Almaty- Studio was the music band Arai. As part of the group, Shukenov established himself as a virtuoso of alto and tenor saxophone, performing instrumental jazz compositions, and in 1983 he became a laureate of the VII All-Union Competition of Variety Artists.
