Dimash has 2 Master Degrees, one in voice and one in composition. He has already received his PhD in Musicology. Some of the posts are a few years old.

He's very strong and the best singer in the world.

Lucky you! So glad you could go to his Concert -- Almaty Concert I was fortunately able to watch on Dimash’s YT channel. Wow! What a production, and Dimash’s performances! The about of work he and his family put into it. His father said, himself, he hadn’t slept for 2 days literally.

That was a great performance by Dimash and a great reaction by you! When you mentioned headphones catching on fire it reminded me of another reactor, Fable, whose headphones appeared to catch on fire after he witnessed Dimash's 2017 performance of "Adagio" on the Chinese reality show, The Singer. That was one of the funniest reaction videos I've ever seen! Have you already reacted to that one, Jimmy? (I haven't been able to find it.) Attending a Dimash performance is the only item on my bucket list but I shared a Dimash video with my neighbors on a community site called nextdoor and one elderly lady in my small town became so fascinated with him that she bought a ticket to his concert in Prague later this month. An 80-some year old lady will be traveling alone from Seattle to Prague in order to be in the same building with Dimash! I'm so envious I could explode.

Great story about the elderly lady, Doug! Even though most of the fans who travel far distances to see Dimash in concert want to hear him sing too, I've no doubt that many would travel across the world just to be in the same building with him.

Ah but Dimash only sings songs that he approves of and if he has an issue with lyrics he asks for changes. His own compositions have lyrics to his orders (he commissions the poet with his message and intent and they write it for him). He is very particular. Interesting tidbit, he apparently has 20 songs he has composed but has not released yet according to Kanat his father.

Renat Gaissin said he had composed 5-6 more songs for Dimash, another Kazakh composer said he'd written a 12-minute opera for Dimash at Dimash's request, and, of course, there's the classical symphony piece that Dimash has been composing for years and recently completed. We must hear all of it asap! 🤯🤯
