Dimash news!! "The Story of One Sky" has been nominated in the "Stunning Eclectic Mix" category at the CPIFF Film Festival, running from 2-25 March 2023 in London.

I think this song is very suitable for Dimash, because he is a real chameleon, containing so many personalities. We love all sides of Dimash - both light and dark.

A Dimash musical would need to be some sort of superhero story!

@@BangkokVoiceCoach unfortunately Dimash can only work with Igor outside of Russia (no performances ) as Dimash cancelled appearances in Russia and his scheduled concert in Belarus when the war broke out much to the disappointment of his Russian and Belarus Dears. But quite understandable due to his antiwar stance. Dimash has a concert scheduled in Malaysia in June that you might want to attend. 🤗

I must say I hood he doesn’t!! That aria has been “done to death” at this stage and invites all sorts of comparisons (Pavarotti!) and critics (the opera-obsessed are the worst because they think they know best!!). It’s an aria that Dimash could sing without even warming up but - better avoid!! ☺️

Sundet did not lead this competition. Moreover, he was subjected to rather harsh criticism from the judges (in my opinion, unfair) and left the competition at the next stage. This performance was out of competition, although it was certainly the brightest at this stage of duets. This is the only performance at this concert of duets that was awarded a long standing ovation from the audience with shouts of "bravo". I have never been a fan of opera art before, although from childhood I tried to cultivate an equal attitude towards all kinds of arts, giving them the opportunity to touch my soul by attending appropriate events. I watched the opera on TV and attended a live opera performance (Tosca by Puccini), and although they were performed in my native language (Russian), I almost never could make out a word, so I always tried to find a libretto to understand at least something then. I believe the reason is in the classical technique of extracting rounded sounds, which does not always contribute to clear articulation. Now, thanks to Dimash, my soul is open again for opera. :) I don't need to understand the words of the text, because his voice conveys everything that my heart needs.

Given that we have been seeing Dimash in more theatrical video productions recently, I wouldn’t be surprised if he chose to explore a musical of some kind. Truth be told, Dimash could save a tonne of money by performing ALL of the parts of any of the musicals out there! Dimash the musical does have a great sound to it! Cheers from snowy Canada! :)

That's transition from falsseto is angelic, he has unreal vocal registers, he knows how to use low falsseto, high falsseto+ Classical head voice+ flageolet register ( i think it's hardest vocal register to master, he has 100% control in this register) not to mention mix voice, but still for me his chest voice is otherworldly, especially when he sings tenor high notes. Check out dimash spanish song ( new level song, Vocally- technically it's something unreal)
