"Buddy" on the piano is Igor Krutoy, a renowned multi-millionaire composer, pianist, and arranger. He came out of retirement to compose music for Dimash. He first heard Dimash when he performed "Sinful Passion", and after the performance, approached Dmash and his dad to ask permission to write music for Dimash. This song was composed in the year that Dimash was born for the singer Alla Pugacheva. Igaor re-arranged this song for Dimash. You may be surprised to know that when Dimash holds those long notes, he OFTEN has extra air still left over. Sometimes you can actually hear him expel the of the remaining air after he's completed the sustained note.

The pianist is the composer, Igor Krutoy. This was an older song, but Krutoy writes many songs specifically for Dimash's voice: especially "Ave Maria," "Olimpico," and "Stranger." "Olimpico" is technically written for a male and female voice, but Dimash handles both parts, and when Krutoy wrote "Stranger," he said he didn't think anyone else COULD sing it.

Dimash sings so many genres that it takes a large number of songwriters to compose for him. Since he's been living in Los Angeles he's been working with Walter Afanasieff who composed music for Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. He's also been working with Nathan Wang who composes primarily movie soundtracks. However, I don't think anyone compares now to what Dimash composes for himself because he plays around with what appeals to him at the time, it could be something epic like The Story of One Sky, something more rock like War and Peace or even something soulful and emotional like Omir.

Igor Krutoy, at the piano, composed Love Is Like A Dream the year Dimash was born. He gifted it to a famous Russian female singer, in whose honor this musical concert was held, a quarter of a century later. From the moment Dimash sang it, it belonged to him. ❤

What a wonderful song🥰. The lyrics are so beautiful❤️. Love Is Like A Dream was written by Igor Krutoy (the man on the piano) for Russian singer Alla Pugacheva in 1994. Dimash sings it totally differently. And in my opinion much more beautiful. Igor Krutoy is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Please react to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. This is a song that Igor Krutoy, our friend on the piano as you put it around, wrote around 30 years ago but rearranged it for Dimash's voice for this performance. So you are correct arranging for Dimash's voice is kind of a whole skill set all its own.

Request for Daybreak - I think the best version is from the Bastou concert. The story is very sad and is about a cable car crash in China which killed many people. A couple managed to hold up their 2 year old son and support him although they died. He was later adopted by the lady who composed this song. It is in Mandarin but Dimash puts so much heart and feeling into it which I find amazing for him when singing in his non native languages. This was a cover of Igor Krutoy's song premiered in 1990 or so by the great and only ALLA PUGACHOVA, a storm of passion on the stages, the Prima donna of Russia who standed her gound against Putin about the Russian invasion to Ukraine. They performed at the "A gift for Alla." concert for the anniversary of Alla Pugacheva in Moscow 8:06 This was the first time most people heard his, now, well known angelic melismas that were called his “MariahCareys” or his “avemarias” by non music specialised reactors. I guess that later evolved in his own version of “Ave Maria”
