Yes, you have to watch Aida and Dimash in the Ulisse duet. Gorgeous performance. Aida is a Russian and currently a soprano at the Vienna Opera. An interesting note, Dimash beat her for the coveted Russian Victoria Award in 2019 for best classical singer for Olimpico. Igor won the award for best composer of 2019. She joked that if for some reason she couldn't sing, Dimash could just sing all their parts. 😄

Hahah! I read Lara's nickname for Dimash is Space Boy. 'Cause he's out of this world. Aida has a magnificent voice. Discovered her from this video and some of her concerts are brilliant and beautiful.

Dimash "beat" Anna Netrebko. Anna is a divine of the world opera and more famous then Aida. Aida never was nominated for this award which is indeed unimportant;) I really recommend to listen to Anna Netrebko. She's is amazing!

I remember the first time I heard this and was stunned by Dimash's rich operatic vocals once again. It's sublime. Igor has the best birthday celebrations and all were invited by him personally to perform. Dimash has always idolized Lara and I know this opportunity to sing with her was one of the highlights for him. I loved seeing them perform together. Aida is the darling of the Russian opera houses and has notably sung with Andrea Bocelli. She is quite well known for her beauty and gorgeous voice.

I will never get over Dimash changing his vibrato on this song depending on who he’s dueting with. Lara Fabian was VERY sick, so that’s part of why Dimash is acting protective of her. Such a gorgeous performance 🤯🥰 A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿

@@cathyhellen5519 There's practice footage from the event where Lara comes in saying she might not sing. There’s also a fancam version of this song that stays on the singers the whole performance, so you see more of Dimash caring for her. He took more care to make sure she didn’t strain, she was cold, so she snuggles into him. It’s the first time he sang with one of his idols (Lara). After this event, she went home and wrote lyrics for a Dimash's song, and called Igor and he did the music. That song is YOUR LOVE ❤️

It was one of the jubilee concerts for Igor's 65th birthday. He had in Moscow, New York and Dubai. So this was an entire performance with ice skating etc. The other lady is Aida Garifullina. She's a very well known Russian soprano.

Lara said in an interview I saw, that during rehearsals of this, Aida looked over at her and said, if I have to run out for something...he can sing my part... and burst into peals of laughter !! She said the house came down !! So did the intervew audience !

Igor Yakovlevich recently wrote on his Instagram that the artists met only on the day of the concert and only had one joint rehearsal, on the same day in the afternoon. However, we knew that Dimash flew to Moscow the night before the concert. What was it like for Dimash to perform the part here that was written for the great Dmitry Hvorostovsky, and perform with the singers he just met? He confirmed with this performance that he was able to do this too. That he can sing not only high notes, but also a purely baritone part, that he is a professional of the highest class and a very brave person. And this one is 25 years old.

This is a very wise way to introduce classic music to people! Classic music was used in cartoons 50 years ago so I called classic music as cartoons music! 😂 I learned to like this beautiful music genre!

I agree! Dimash really awakened my appreciation for it. As for your other point, the classical music in cartoons used to make my daughter cry when she was about 5. 😂 Disney movies were the worst... she'd just get emotionally overwhelmed and break down sobbing, poor girl. 😅

@@Monica-sw9ld I watch Bug Bonny cartoons so funny with classic music! And beautiful old Disney's cartoon! Vivaldi's Four Season was used in cartoon with flowers! It was long time ago but I still remember that beautiful cartoons! I think that today cartoons are not for kids!

Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol are okay, though. 😁 I think my daughter just felt the music so deeply that the only thing she knew to do was cry. 😅 Eventually, she asked me to play it for her every night at bedtime to help her fall asleep. ❤

Hey Monica, isn't is funny how things affect kids? It reminds me of when my oldest was about 8, maybe. I was driving him to school one morning, and we were listening to the radio, and "Unchained Melody" was playing. As we were pulling up to the drop off area, i noticed he was really quiet. I looked over and when he faced me, he had tears in his eyes. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me that he never realized how SAD the song was! I will NEVER forget that moment...even at such a young age, we can feel Music, in a way that nothing else can!

This concert also included Andrea Bocelli as well as an operatic tenor trio I can't remember their name, I'm sorry. Also other performers. Dimash also sang four other songs during this concert. Ulisse with Aida, Olimpico, Know and Passione.

And to think Lara had to cancel a few shows weeks before as she was quite sick with vertigo and could not stand at all. She had an inner ear infection. This was her first appearance in a few weeks and not 100 percent recovered, yet did not want to disappoint her friend Igor.

It is o.k. with us if you do not show the video or not very much of it. You can show stills, or blur, or cover it. But we all know how to go to his channel and watch his videos there. And you should put a link to his video so that Dimash gets all of the credit that he deserves for his amazing work. And you will get your credit for your video reaction. And we will be fine with both your video and Dimash's. win win win. :)

According to copyright office, it is the content creator who owns the copyright of an article or digital products published. So technically, Yoola cannot stop you from using anyone's creations unless it is the creator who filed the complain. Yoola is getting paid by DIMASH to manage his creations and without those creations Yoola won't have anything to publish.

Unfortulately that's not completely true. Yes, the artist owns the copyright, along with the artist management. However, these companies, like Yoola, UMG, Sony etc, have a contract with both the artist/management company. These companies are specifically paid for the task of monitoring anyone that uses their copyrighted materials. that's their job. Many of them have contracts with KZread also, that allows for certain artists content to be used without getting permission. It's just impossible to find out ahead of time who will/will not allow certain videos to be played/monetized. This one for example, is held by a big company, but the autobot copy right program, "Content ID" didn't pick up on it at all (YET-Fingers crossed) and it was not claimed at all. fully monetized. It can always come thought, at anytime. It's just a fact as a reactor that we have to face. I dispute all of them, and I get CC's on 99% of the vids I upload. 75% of the time, it gets released and either fully monetized, or shared. Otherwise it just comes back as ineligible, aprox. 20% Still viewable, but not monetized. Which is fine. It's that 5% or so that get's blocked completely.

You could try to 'freeze' the visual, while playing the audio, that seem to be working for other people in US. Great to see your reactions to Dimash, I always enjoy it 👍🌼

Westerners have the dignity of high notes that do not understand Korean music. They do not pursue high notes as in the West. In Korea, there are many ordinary people who do music while doing their jobs. One example is the chemistry researchers among them who enjoy amateur music from Foresttella, and they are meaningful when they arrange themselves to win the contest and win the contest together.Westerners can listen to their music in the West, and Koreans can live listening to Korean music in Korea. Thanks for the tips! I usually don't look up info before a reaction because I prefer for it to be a raw, real reaction. Sometimes there are spoilers or information that I would rather get from the viewers after the fact. As far as pronunciation, It is what it is. I am horrible at it, but I do my best. Google has a pronunciation page but it pronounces things in English, so it still isn't going to always be correct. I have a lot of respect for the Artists, as well as the viewers and those that hang around, know me and know that I have nothing but the utmost respect for them! I am always trying to become better!
