Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin). He was 23 in this performance (28 now) and he has only gotten better. He plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "SOS" 2017, 2018 or 2021, then "Stranger" 2021 at New Wave, "Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZread channel, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for his most recent song and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. LOL, You can always tell if it's someones first time listening to a vocal god. This man you just discovered is the Greatest singer of All time. There is and has never been anyone that can achieve the vocal mastery of Dimash. Trust me when I tell you that this is the tip of the iceberg, you have about 150 songs to go, all of them are unique, all will shock you just as much as this has. Vocally, there is absolutely nothing that Dimash can not do, nothing. You will hear vocals that you have never before heardd in your life. The man on the piano is the composer of this song, he and the other band members are doing their best to stay as perfect in their job as Dimash is. They already know he is as good he is. The tribal vocals near the end where Dimash's voice seems like rapid fire pulses is a middle eastern death chant and tribute to the former singer in this band that had passed away. Dimash has filled in for him. I've sub'd to your channel to follow along with you with Dimash. Others below my comment have filled you in so I wont bore you. Best thing to do is give up on all other performers because from now on, they will all sound like amatuers. He sings in almost every genre of music from rap to opera. The man standing in the audience at the end with the white shirt is a famous retired Russian composer named Igor Krutoy. This too was his first time hearing Dimash. After this performance, he aproached Dimash and offered to come out of retirement just to compose for Dimash. They are now a power duo, as you continue with Dimash, you will see Igor at the piano oftem, normally but not always, it means that song was composed by Igor. Igor is a multi billionaire, so he did not come out of retirement to make money off Dimash. They almost have a father son relationship , it's been wonderful watching that realationship happen of the years. One last thing, not all cultures are the same, in Russia and Kazahkstan (where Dimash is from) they sit politely after a performance instead of standing and blocking the view of those behind them, something call courtesy, and instead, they rush the stage and present flowers to their perfomers. Had you allowed the video to continue (getting rid of the Ad) you would have seen thousands of flowers come to the stage. Engulfing our hero. You would also have seen Dimash rather than taking credit for everything, he instead thanks the composer (pianist) and the other band members and thanks the audience for comming to listen. This is not you typical US singer that just one day decided to sing and then walked up to a mic. He's been at this every day since he was 5 years old in the best music school in the country. @@Fifth_unit yes he was invited by the shows producer, who had seen or heard him previously, but was he an unknown wildcard entrant, who wasn't even really considered a professional yet, who was invited on to an long running TV singing show for already well know established professional singers. He was the first to sing on the first show of the new series so no-one there knew who he was, and were all very curious about him, this unknown, slightly gangly (he's 6'3") young man. He was a mega hit with the public and the day after the show aired he had 800,000,000 new fans subscribe to him. Yes that does say 8 hundred million! He also needed bodyguards to hold back the screaming mobs. 🥰 💞🦌

Yes - ' Beast' - Vocal Lord. Whatever! Simply the best Vocalist this planet has ever heard. Micro-precision control. Yes he's young, but he started learning to sing in his mothers womb - that's MY theory anyhow! 😆- and hasn't stopped since. That last run was 1 breath, think was over 20 seconds. I too love the 'triangle guy'. So much intensity for so little! Cracks me up - every time. 🤣 { Takes me back to school days when the poor clunk that got the Triangle was because they couldn't sing or play anything else! } But this guy's a Master Percussionist, you'll see him on most of Dimash's clips. Don't get excited about the Piano Player, he wrote the song back in 1998 - with the previous lead singer, Batyrkhan Shukenov who has since passed. This is the original Band, also from Kazakhstan: A-Studio. Dimash did 'reinvent it' this song - as he does with anything else. Puts his own unique stamp. Enjoy discovering more Dimash, there are more surprises in store. His many MANY fans will enjoy your first reactions. { Many of us are highly addicted to watching jaws dropping open after experiencing Dimash !} 😂👍

The keyboard player composed the song. The group A Studio, accompanying Dimash had a hit with this song in the 90’s. It’s very different to Dimash’s version though! Dimash stole the percussionist (the triangle player) for his own DQ Band after this performance, (he is actually brilliant)!

The piano man actually wrote this song! It's Dimash's take on an old pop song & he smashes it, as he always does! You will discover that Dimash always smashes everything he does. The band is not his band but they are the ones who originally performed this song. The original singer has died & it's said that the Dimash put the Eastern 'tribal' type call in as a mark of respect to the deceased singer. If you had let it play to the end you would've seen Dimash thanking them for bringing this kind of music to the youngsters. Dimash is the most humble, respectful & kind artist I have ever seen & he does not understand how some artists become full of themselves & think they are above everyone else. His attitude is so down-to-earth & it's another reason why he's so loved. He really is a unique young man. Thanks for the reaction.

The guy on the piano wrote this song and the original bandmates are playing with Dimash, except for the percussionist. He plays with Dimash's band. I listened to the original song and I hope no one gets angry, but for me, Dimash took it to another level.

Stand up? It's okay, the billionaire composer/musician/producer in the white shirt stood up, so Dimash got a bunch of new songs and venues.

You can’t be mad at anyone in the band. They were AStudio a band from the 90’s. The pianist wrote this song for the lead singer who passed away. The pianist asked Dimash to sing it. This is about 2019 or so. You just can’t be mad at them because Dimash has to collab with others including duets or trios. The problem is nobody can stand beside Dimash and not look or sound as good. This was my second song by Dimash. When I got thru I knew based on this song that Dimash was the best singer in the world and probably for a century back. First it was Russian not his birth language and currently Dimash sings in 15 languages. That voice was over 20 years old and he has over 20 years education in music. Wikipedia has his career starting at 2 years old when he was on stage with his professional opera singer mother and his pop and producer father. You want to go down this rabbit whole. The man in the front row is the only person that can write for and produce up to Dimashs standard. I knew when I heard Dimash for the first time it would be no small feat to find a person who could write and produce for this close to 8 octaves now which is the span of a piano. But every instrument on stage and more Dimash can play. He can produce every song he does, directs sound camera and grips. Dimash collabs but has all the skill needed for what he wants in the what looks like a small man but he is a slender 6’3”. He is a high fashion model, he has a red belt in taekwando, he deep dives and swims everyday for those lungs you heard on that 24 seconds portion without taking a breath. You think this was good? He just gets better and every song sounds different. He practices vocals 3 hours a day with or without a vocal coach. His idols Michael Jackson and Freddy Mercury don’t measure up to dimash. He’s the best singer in the world right here right in this song even if you’ve never hear anything else he’s done. The reason is because it can’t be repeated and because Dimash did it first. That’s why. Vocal coaches and their student come to Dimash to learn from this maestro voice in his doctorate.

Lol, welcome to Dimash. Tip of the iceberg. He was 23 when he did this. Now 28 and he has only practiced since then so you are in for the experience of your life with the best vocalist of our time if not ever. What language do you want to hear him in? He has performed in about 15 different languages although he is fluent in his native Kazakh and Russian with English becoming a fast third. Singer, plays multiple instruments, writes music, dances, raps, acts and to top it off has to be the most polite, respectful, and appreciative artist I have ever witnessed. His trade mark song.. SOS. Try SOS from the Singer 2017 and then do SOS from his digital concert of 2021 to see his growth. Both are stunning.

Igor Krutoy, the man in white shirt giving his standing ovation, invited Dimash to participate in this festival in the same year. "Sinful Passion" was created in 1998. This is how the song was performed, exactly in the 20th anniversary of this song. It speaks of greater love, greater loss, greater despair, greater desire, greater passion. The loss or lack of this love, in Dimash's interpretation, has the dimension of a loss of life, which one is very anxious to restore. The pianist actually wrote the song so was very into it! The band are called Studio A who originally sang the song. The “yodelling” part in the middle was a lament to the lead singer of the band who unfortunately passed away.
