Guys, Singer 2017 performances are all very techical and with high range vocals. Dimash is not just about high notes. And I hope you wont be too critical of his English. He has come a long way, he has a lot of tender songs as well. I hope you would enjoy everything equally. Yes he is fantastic, his solo concerts are so fun, I have heard him live! And he is HUMBLE!

If you watch the extended portion of this video, you find out he didn’t know his dad was in the audience. They announce it when he is done and he hugs his dad, who flew from Kazakhstan. He had missed him so much. First thing he asks his dad is ‘Did I sing good’. Can you believe that 22 year old boy had to ask.

I’m glad one of your dears even mentioned 7 octaves because the female vocal coaches , Wikipedia and google like to say 6 working octaves, but he hit a D8 one note above the highest note of the piano. Also 8 refers to the octave. In the drunken concubine he hits several notes in the first octave (basenotes) . There are only 88 keys on a keyboard.to find the highest note they have to come down to the 7th octave and match the note from the 8th octave. Dimash’s octave range is a mystery that he doesn’t talk about himself and is embarrassed to. But the vocal coaches are women. They are not about to give a man credentials to the fact that a man has a higher range than a woman. Because throughout history even from the reainasants women sang softer and higher than men. Dimash has proven that fact is a theory. Only boys and eunuchs could have high voices. He is a shock. Still the two songs you’ve reacted to hint at what he can do. The vocal coaches say that an artist is not showing their real range...that they’re only giving you so much of what they really can do.

At that time he wes 22 y.o. He become 26 at May 24th 2020. This song was original by Vitas. Great too!

Every episode is completely different....different side of him. * Bear in mind during singer 2017, Dimash can only speak HI, I AM DIMASH....so his English pronunciations was somewhat 'off' in THE SHOW MUST GO ON.....but man! Did he give a show! Freddie Mercury would have been proud of him!

Yes best thing is to go in chronological order, as you will see how much he has improved in 3 years. Not that he wasn’t better than anyone else in the planet in 2017 anyway. Enjoy the ride.

This song is in Russian. He speaks three languages, Kazakh, and Russian, he is fluent in both, and he is now speaking English. His English is still broken sometimes, but he speaks and understands very well. His fans call it Dinglish. He is also learning Mandarin, and speaks some, but he said it is very hard to learn. He sings in twelve different languages though. He may seem confident, but he himself has said he is also very critical of himself. He said he worries a lot before every performance. He is just the best in the world. Seeing him in person in New York in concert was the best gift I ever gave myself. I can not wait to do it again. The more you get to know Dimash, you will see how extremely humble and appreciative he is. In New York, if you find the fan cam version of Daididau, he speaks about how much it meant to him to be in America for his first concert in the States. He thanked repeatedly his fans from around the world ( I believe fans from 67 (?) countries flew in to see it) for coming. He had tears in his eyes when the audience was able to sing back to him a Kazakh song although we surely missed a lot of the words. He thinks nothing of getting on his knees and bowing to the audience in respect which as you know we never see out of our own artist. It was the most touching moment of the entire evening.
