Composed by Thomas Parisch , a worldwide known great composer, who said about working process - Extract from the interview: "......Apart from that it was really fun to work with this outstanding singer. Dimash truly is a natural when it comes to musical expression and his range and control spanning several octaves are absolutely unique. I really wanted to use and showcase all this in the song. Originally I was writing for two and a half octaves, which I thought rather large already. But in the recording with his improvisation towards the climax, he pushed it beyond and unbelievable three and half octaves. To witness that live was a real treat. A fun fact about the vocal recording is that him being Kazakh, he sang in a language he is not fluent in. So he truly did a remarkable job conveying all that emotion while he had to pay special attention to his pronunciation of the Mandarin lyrics. Apart from that, we had other complicating factors of the production since it was spread out all over the world. Only the piano was recorded in L.A. (for which we got the one and only Randy Kerber - what a pleasure and honor!), while the vocals and other band instruments were tracked in Bejing, and the orchestra was recorded in Budapest (but monitored remotely from Beijing; deadlines left no other choice). I actually got to go to China for the Beijing part. It was nice since I finally got to meet the whole team from Tencent and also got to work with Dimash personally. A truly memorable experience."

João...me too. There's something very magical that happens when Dimash sings soft, beautiful melodies in the Chinese language. I get the same feelings when he sings "Autumn Strong", "The Meaning of Eternity", and "1000 Miles, a Common Dream". Maybe a classically-trained vocal coach can explain it with vowels, diphthongs, phonemes, etc., but I can't. I can only say that something Dimash does especially in Mandarin is perfectly beautiful and perfectly matched to how he shapes sounds.

Dimash needs the help of his fans in order to maintain his #1 position in requests on MTV's youtube channel weekly Friday Livestream. Those who can help should calculate their time zone differences and then tune in on Friday, June 25 (and most Fridays thereafter) from 5-8 pm New York time. Simply type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hour live broadcast. When Dimash receives the #1 most requests he gains the added benefit of being the only artist to have two of his songs played during the program.
