In the beginning Dimash sang in Chinese-Mandarin language, later - in Italian, "Diva dance" - in alien language... 😉

His fall on the ground was taekwondo fall. As a teenager, Dimash got keen on taekwondo classes, to which he devoted 4 years. During this time, he achieved great success in eastern martial arts and became the owner of the red belt. Usually in traditional Korean taekwondo the red belt is just before gaining a first degree black belt, or first Dan. But later he choose only music. Something like that for the beginning... 🤔

First verse in Mandarin then he switched to Italian. Confessa is a break up song where man is asking his partner why she stopped loving him.

For your first song from Dimash in English, I would recommend his cover of "Hello" from this same TV show. It's a song every English speaker knows, but Dimash takes it someplace entirely new. For his most beautiful performance in English, you could do "Adagio", also from this same show. You're probably not familiar with this song, but his performance is so breathtaking, you won't care.

Yes, it is insane but yet my YOUNG MAN can & does what others are unable to do. That's what is so beautiful about Dimash. But he doesn't do it bc he needs/wants attention. For those who love Dimash, two other must see singers are Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu from China. Zhou Shen has a high, feminine voice that often got him bullied in school. If his classmate only could have seen the talent in that voice. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell" and "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". Another singer that is highly rated is Hua Chenyu. One never knows what one will get with a Hua Chenyu song since he mixes genres and composes many of his own songs. He is an epic stage performer spilling his emotions into the audience so they can share in those emotions. He is also a master are redeveloping cover songs into his unique perspective. I have a recommendation list, but it is not really in any particular order. "Nunchucks", "Child", I am what I am", "Fake Monk", "Friend", and "Dad, I'm Home". Neither Zhou Shen or Hua Chenyu are the full package that Dimash displays, but they are both unique and special with their skills.

Greetings .... Song of Dimash in Italian “CONFESSA” in which as usual he performed it beautifully with an outstanding performance. ( I like this song because it reminds me the great importance & value of our responsibility to our Commitment & Relationship ) When it comes to commitment and relationships we should be solidly grounded on truth of what is really love. Because when tough time comes, that our love will be put to the test in certain circumstances, we don’t step backward or died down with our love instantly, but rather strengthens by it. Actually, because of sin we lost this beautiful gift and virtue of faithfulness within us and even among ourselves. When sin enters into the life of human being we become rebellious with God, with others and even to ourselves and or in any other relationships that we had. Meaning we become rebellious towards Good. For instance, we knew that unfaithfulness is not good, or lying and cheating is not good but why is it that our minds and hearts were drawn many times to such a thing..? But we knew also that deep down within us we want to be good or do good at all times. Yes, we can be a good boy or good girl for some time, some hours, some days or some month maximum, but we cannot all the time persevere on our own effort till the end. This is the reality of our human frailty and weakness that we have to face and bear till the end of our life’s journey. I think we all know that loving relationship and commitment is not all the time easy and smooth sailing, but it’s really a struggle to live it every day. Indeed it is a great challenge for all of us. Since it is beyond our human capacity to be faithful to our relationship and commitment all the time after sin enter into us, we go back once again, to the source of love (God) whom we can truly rely and depend with, because He Himself is LOVE, TRUTH and FAITHFUL GOD and He has all the power to help us in our need. Our human tendency when we are hurt and wounded and in pain in our commitment and relationship, our love prematurely ends in there, we immediately give up and we become bitter, angry, hopeless, depress, and worst, we want to take revenge. There's two more Diva Dance performances, the one which you found originally from his Bastau concert, and it's probably the closest to the version of the movie, and there's another one called Drunken Concubine+Diva Dance, where you would hear his whistle register for the first time. You are not going to believe that one because you will learn that he can also... rap. The singing is in English, the rapping in Kazakh. Dimash uses a simplified version of Diva Dance (as do all singers, it was literally written to be impossible for a human to sing every note), but its still super close to the original and always amazing to see. Super impressive no matter how many times I see it. The Charismatic Voice has a great reaction video to him singing this (I think she covers other people singing it too, in that one, if im not misremembering) in which she goes over how hard it is and why people use a simplified version, if anyone is curious
