For me the PAF Pro has always been a great choice both clean and distorted. Extremely versatile in both the bridge and neck position for so many styles / genre's. It especially sounds good with a 250K volume instead of a 500K as it darkens it up just a touch. Great comparison video. Also like the sound of the Tone Zone in this.

100% for sharing and put together a great bridge comparison. Firstly I cannot tell the difference with all the distortion, but I am buying tone zone tomorrow anyway.

ibz/usa F2 more output...more treble n mid.. very rare to find this pickup now..in 1987 ibanez put that pickup in their S series model only...including FGM..

that Dimarzio deactivator sounds really good

Same tone. But i like tone zone. I changed today my rg370 inf pickups to Dimarzio/ibz. I feel so weak this pickups. I was a little disappointed.

Watching that bridge saddle move was tripping me out

what are the outputs for dimarzio/IBZ ? i have those in my rgt220a prestige. i liked the tone but the output feels kinda low. i dont know maybe pickup height or im just used to EMGs.

I use Ibanez rg450 ( neck : evolution, bridge : super3 ) . I haven't used "gravity storm " BUT. I think it will go well with my thoughts. g.storm neck ( t:6, m:9, b:7 ), super3 ( t:5 m:8, b:6.5 ) . The two pickups are emphasized in the middle, so it seems to produce a hot sound. evolution NECK & G.storm two pickups The output is similar, but the middle is more emphasized. output level ( evolution NECK : 294mv, G.storm neck :290mv)

I had a Super 3 in an ash strat paired with a Super 2 neck. Sounded great. But I replaced those pups with a Tone Zone/Air Norton set and it works better because the Tone Zone balances out some of the brightness of that guitar. It's not that the TZ is dark. It's not. It just has a fuller low end and rounded high end, so it still cuts through but sounds bigger in every way. I put my Super 3 into my PRS paired with an Air Norton and it sounds absolutely amazing.

@@angusorvid8840 unfortunately not a fan of TZ & wasn't an option at all.. my only concern is what pup would match perfectly with the super 3...I think gravity storm neck will do the job...hopefully..

I really cant tell much difference with any of them… add delay, distortion and just about all pickup sound pretty similar

Now this is what im i'm inerested in. People say it doesn't matter but it so does. The first one, and the super 3. The super 3 neck is the best sounding neck humbucker i have ever heard. Hands down. It sounds like a single coil. I have tried alot of pickups but the super 3 neck is the absolute best. I prefer a high output beast in the bride but the super 3 bridge sounds good too. Just not for my face melting style. If you want the best bridge humbucker that would blow your mind try a pegcity pickups angry widow. You will absolutely not believe it. High output, clarity and dynamics. I have never heard a bridge pickup like that. Whatevever formula they have will make you smile and say wow! Best bridge pickup of all time. Not joking.

Great vid ..One notch of Treble Mid or Bass on an amp is a way bigger tonal shift than the differences in these pickups.

Run the guitar through a real tube amp and you'll hear the difference between all of them

no, it is not true - there is no algorythm in digital modellers that wll eliminate tonal differences. Modeller is not a synthesizer.
