This one felt like a bit of a grind at times, struggling with lack of direction but I just about managed to push through it. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer in the comments below.

Amazing video, great process! Love the sense of scale!
This is an incredible piece, keep up the amazing work!! I have a deep appreciation for environment painters that don't photobash (much). Not that photobashing isn't a valid way of painting and creating an artwork- Fully Handpainted pieces just give me a warm, oldschool feeling. Great job!
Simply amazing! I am in awe of your talent.
It's not about the brushes. It's about the skills! Amazing work btw. Mesmerizing!
i didn't want to keep looking to the layers window , the amount of layers i saw there scares me LUL
So great! Powerful and elegance !
Already blown away at the one minute mark!
what a superb creativity talent you have ! i always thought photoshop is just for adding moles in my face, but not until now... i'm amazed !
Great work ! I love this kind of landscape

This is amazing and a big inspiration for me ! Would like to give more likes (:
Oh my goodness, I been aspiring to do this, but landscapes are not my strong feat.. I'm more into creature designs, but watching you do this makes me wanne a start a landscape art again!
This reminds me of the castle from the movie, The Dark Crystal. I love it! I also do art speed paints on my channel. I've been drawing fantasy characters for a few years but I've been pushing out of my comfort zone recently and practicing more on fantasy landscapes and scenery. So this is very inspiring thank you for sharing! :)

agreed. mostly because of that rift for some reason.
أبداع متواصل .. انها قصة لها معنى وليس رسمة فقط 💪
Hello I've just discovered this channel and I must say, amazing paintings. Could you tell how you get so much texture so quickly? And how do you make the texture from the paterns and those from the brush strokes harmonize so well? Thank you for sharing your works! Cheers
This is really amazing. Do you have any recommendations as far as tutorials go? I’ve been really wanting to do this sort of thing but I don’t have experience with photoshop.
Wonderful
I fucking love your art man.
Brutal.
Nice work
Really nice. Keep up the good work! 👍

It is minas morgul
great sir
Really enjoyed this! Question regarding your internal values. Did you use a brush with texture on it and then wrap the texture around the parts of the mountains you wanted to show?
This is great. where did you get the textures that you laid down for the ground and mountainside?
Super cool work, but what about layers and layers? How you even orientate in so many of them?
I dont even slightly understand how any of this was created but that was awesome
Good video make more videos like that
Wow! You are incredible! I have never seen anything like this, I am in love with what you have done
It's Amasing! Divine! I went into a trance while watching. P.S. What kind of brush you used to create the texture of the mountains??

A brush
Did you hand paint the mountain textures on a separate layer and transform them?
I've been wondering about the noise filter I see artists use in their paintings. For the longest time I thought it was caused by increasing the sharpness. Thanks for showing that! Been wondering for a while how people got that look.

Question: Would you ever be interested in doing a tutorial video of some sort?

I'm planning to create some videos with commentary as soon as I have a little more free time :)
i think the most comforting part of this video is the fact none of the layers are named
What brushes do you use for texture of the mountains and the grass
wonderful,a question.. did you use a mouse or a tablet?
Could I ask what brushes you used to make this?
Perhaps a stupid question but are you using a graphic tablet to do this ? Is it just possible to make some digital speed painting only with a mouse ? Great work as always, love it! And you really should create an artstation profile!

Alphα while it’s certainly possible it’ll take much longer
how much time you are taken , to create this painting , sir
すご…
wow. teach me~~
what brush do you use for the mountain?
Can someone fill me in on the mountain texturing. Im now trying to mess with detailed environments and such. That texture that was stretched across the ground and mountains. Was that custom made? Brush strokes? Im trying to translate the technique over to autodesk sketchbook mobile.
can you share me those brush you using in the video
I wanna live there
This is wonderful but, can you do tutorials also? because... to be honest i can.t understand a lot of things
The back could be Minas Morgul or Angband wow.
Hey Alyn, do you have any tips for starting out on youtube? I started doing voice over speedpainting vids but youtube doesn't seem to recognize them (suggestion bar is full of bs).. any tips how to get it out there?
What resolution do you normally use or does it vary?
There's this. And then me... xD
OMG... 118 layers! AwwwK. Which layer(s) is the moon in?
How, please tell me how
can someone say that 0:02 0:17 what is name of brush?please i've been calling for 2 days

minas morgul ?
Fuck... I searched for oil fantasy paintings, saw you thumbnail and inmediately fell in love with the landscape, then I saw it isn't oil paint or paint at all. If it not with my hands I can't do shit 😔
...pause. Pause it. 0:07 . That's a fucking badass intro template... I still have another six minutes and fifty seconds to go.
1 million X speed
Oof
very gay painting. I love it.
