FIRST!
I get why companies want to save massive amounts of money and scale up by putting on virtual concerts but if the general public decides to buy into this they are going to miss out on one of the great all senses IRL social human experiences...Oh and if you are going to make a virtual concert, don't just Replicate - Innovate and create something impossible to experience in real life.

It’s a building that doesn’t exist yet. This isn’t a “replica” as much as it’s a fancy architectural rendering to build hype for the future space, visualizing what a show in the future space will look like

@@thatnugget Used for that purpose it's offering something that doesn't already exist IRL however there are companies popping up that want to replicate concert venues virtually and I worry about the "cheaper, more convenient" mindset of the general public and what we will lose if many live events switch to virtual because the profit margins and a public that hasn't stopped to realize what they actually lost.

@@cosmos_creater789 Exactly why it should be discussed now rather than later. A handful of companies have already started doing it. I love VR and many of the Metaverse experiences it will bring but replicating some social experiences virtually will have many less than obvious negative social side effects.

While I agree that virtual concerts can never truly replicate the IRL version, part of makes replications acceptable (to me anyway) is that it lets people who are restricted from the IRL experience either due to geographic, social, financial or even physical limitations, enjoy and share in the moments that they otherwise couldn't. And I think that's a great thing. Honestly, what I'm more concerned with is musicians and artists selling the rights to their virtual replicas and having their value drop -- since all you need to run infinite events is a digital scan of the artist and a recording of their performance. But that's a whole other can of worms.
that's the dumbest use you can find for unreal engine , people who find this awesome never went to a live concert...
