digiCamControl Software, for controlling DSLR Camera.

Very good informative video. Thanks for sharing such videos. How did you synchronize the load obtained from the machine to the images taken through DSLR camera? Can you please explain

Hi Venkatesh, it is a challenge as both loading machine & DSLR are operating independently. I take help of lab assistant. I trigger the camera with help of laptop, and he simultaneously start the loading (using countdown). Of course, this method has inherent human error (in microseconds). For this particular experiment in the video, the error is manageble as the loading rate is very low. But while performing high loading rate experiments, I take video instead of images.

Can we use any DIC software available on internet to get results

You can use any commercial or open source DIC software for getting the results. We use the DIC software developed by us. ( www.fe-dic.com/ )

Very informative video.. Just needed info on the speckle sheet you have used.. Is it commercially available?? If yes kindly share the link where I can buy from 👍🏼

Hi Shamanth We developed the speckle paper, but not yet commercialized. Currently not available in the market.

Hi Pragya Nandan, we developed our own DIC software (it is not available as open source software).
