Writing a drama is difficult. Getting the digital forensic procedure right is more complicated. A digital forensic scientist reacts to Criminal Minds Season 01 Episode 01. Did they collect digital evidence in a forensically sound way, or would the case be thrown out of court? Check out computer investigations from 2005 and where the reality ends and the drama begins.
Thank you to our Members and Patrons, but especially to our Investigators, TheRantingGeek and Roman! Thank you so much!
Overall, they used manufactured problems with digital devices to create tension in the main narrative. They definitely should have investigated a few leads more and probably sped up the investigation!

This was such a cool perspective! I'd love to see more breakdowns like this as well and I hope you continue watching Criminal Minds. It can get cheesy and melodramatic, but that's what you sign up for with these kinds of shows in my opinion! I always find them to be a good time. :)

Fun stuff! You really haven't watched Criminal Minds at all? You're in for it now. The show and the profiling aspect is great. The tech person you saw was "Penelope Garcia", who has a relevant backstory you should find interesting. Her character is most likely where you will spending most of your energy when breaking some of these instances down. Enjoy!

This might be first video like this that doesn't immediately shit on all the tiniest details and understand it's a tv show/movie and is for entertainment purposes so it's not gonna be perfect.... Usually with shows like this they have someone or small team that does research on shit like this to make it look as realistic as possible while being not boring as shit haha.... Could you imagine watching crime shows like this and 90% of each episode is paper work and shit like that haha..... So thank you for not being TOOOO nit picky

😂 Including the paperwork would be... hilarious. You're right. No drama can show the reality perfectly and still be interesting. I'm just looking for fairly big stuff. DON"T THROW EXHIBITS AROUND THE ROOM. Thank kind of stuff. Thanks!

You should do the show power there’s so many scenes where it shows them trying to get rid of evidence
