A piece of advice for anyone with MORE than 9 folders: instead of putting the number "1" write it as "01". Google goes by the first numeral, so "10" will end up BEFORE "2" unless you make it "02." Had a very aggravating 20 minutes 3 years ago until I figured this out...,🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes! I forgot to add that in there. Personally, I always keep my "broad" categories to under 10 because I keep my "teaching" files and "personal" files in separate Google Drive. But you definitely may need to use this if you keep all your files in one place and have many different categories!

@@PocketfulofPrimary haha. I've had a few years of figuring this out. Our district uses the G-suite as everything so the kids all have Google accts via our school network and we are a 1 to 1 district with ipads. We've gotten very good with the ins and outs of this stuff. Which means my drive is a HOT MESS right now. Time to do some digital Kon Mari...because #teachersarehoarders and #digitalhoarding is the worst ...

This is so SO helpful! I have been asking my district for this exact tutorial! Thank you! If you had any tips for SmartBoard, that would be wonderful!

These are excellent tips for teachers, but would also be great for students! (Especially my middle schoolers who always need help with organization!) 😁

Fabulous! Thank you! I use Google Drive all the time but love your approach to organizing them. I need to share multiple documents with a large group of people. I hope/trust this will work!
