This series on Workflows and Techniques is really useful, thank you so much! I would like to see tutorials on more complex composites if at all possible.

Hi Ferdinando, glad you're finding them useful. You should continue to see a mix of tool/function-based and workflow tutorials, as there's a need for both!

How you can select so quick? Is that result of years of training, brush choose or brush size?

I congratulate you for the new tutorials where the image of the person who is explaining does not appear, since this image distracts and covers part of the program's interface. Congratulations!

When I add a fill layer, it doesn't "fill" with colors.

Still wondering how the shortcuts with the ] or [ should work on a German keyboard, where those are special characters that can only be accessed by also holding "alt" and then find(!) it, since it is not visible on the keyboard. Otherwise ... certainly ... fantastic upgrade!

At least for brush size I find it easier to hold Ctrl-Alt and Left Mouse Button and then drag the mouse left and right. But you are right, the brackets are far from ideal on a german keyboard but the good thing is that you can change these shortcuts in the settings.

@@FHB71 I have the same problem with the Finnish keyboard and I reassign those two shortcuts to Ö and Ä since that's where the [ and ] are on the English keyboard. (Preferences ➡ shortcuts ➡ select Photo from the first dropdown, select Paint Brush Tool from the second dropdown, then change the shortcuts in the table below) Having "Ö" decrease the size and "Ä" to increase the size doesn't make sense visually, but on the keyboard they are in a convenient place.

Honestly... there's no point in paying £50 to Adobe for PS anymore. This is actually better and costs a one time payment of £67

Gimp is really not as good as Affinity. But it is much easier to create a collage in Gimp

Why not be one of very few KZreadrs and simply place a text at the beginning of your video saying cmd=ctrl on Mac and Windows etc and save us all the constant repeats about ctrl on windows etc etc? Text books are full of this crap.
