I want to grow by exploring, appreciating and treasuring all the moments of my life. I badly want to have an digital camera or recorder but as of now, my parents won't allow me because its too expensive, and hoping that I can enhace my skills in photography and filming .

Get a canon power shot 130sx is they are pretty cheap, they are old but aren’t any less behind the new ones in terms of photography

camera looks so cute! the sensor type of this camera is CMOS though, so the pictures don't come out as film-like

It's not like CCD sensors are inherently film-like. Some sensors on some shots have a vintage vibe though. With a bit of luck, in the right conditions, sure... If you want 'film like' and vlogging, don't get a CCD camera. They are all too old for recording decent video footage. Just learn how to color grade (some color shifts and raising the blacks to get that slightly washed out effect, maybe add some softness or diffusion. Fujifilm makes decent camera's that try to mimic the film vibe and it's fairly effective. X-T2(0) and beyond should be good for filming I'd say. Expensive though, easier to follow a tutorial and film on your phone. Affordable android phones have decent filters built in. More like IG filters than actual film sims, but it'll do. Also no Full Frame is not more film-like in any way. That's the silliest comment I've read today. Most modern FF camera's try to be as real to life as possible as opposed to simulating film.
