Same. Also usually when companies release a new product they tend to forget about their old stuff. I was worried that would happen with the release of the syntakt, but here we are with another giant update with new functionality.

I think that their three Digi kids are now pretty grown up, meanwhile OT and Analog twins has to be jealous and feel bit abandoned by their own creators :)) I bought my DT 2yrs ago and lacking autoslice/warp function was a unpleasant surprise, I assumed somehow automatically, that DT can do it, bcs it's sampling groovebox and automated source cutting/slicing is one of the necessary bones for this particular kind of gear :) Old electribes (ES mk1 and all furthers) and had it, two decades ago, omg..! :) ! So I'm glad that they FINALLY adds this essential feature, that "LFO to start point hack" founded by community was clever, but I wasn't :D My learning curve with DT was pretty slow, Elektron's architecture and logic was another planet for me, I used to Korg's simple grooveboxes desing :)) And the manual wasn't very helpful for somebody who's new in the game :)) But anyway, I still miss retrigger function on MIDI tracks, maybe second LFO could be useful, and finally, ability to sequence/automate FX parameters internally (=without MIDI looping).

The Digitakt, to me, is the best thing Elektron has ever done, and I've owned a lot of their boxes. It's the one thing that rarely leaves my desk. They deserve credit for keeping it updated.

Same here - every time I want to get back into pure direct creative mode I go to the Digitakt - it’s the root of so many of my tracks - this is a wonderful update 🤘🏻❤️🙏🏻

Given the fact that the developers of the Octatrack have left Elektron they ensure that their sample-playback-devices are kept up-to-date. I would never trade my OT to a Digitakt, but I love both and this new update is a real game-changer! Loving this!

Been a while since I've been really working on music but I'm so happy that Elektron has Ricky officially working on videos for them. Always felt like his videos were so helpful in breaking down and demystifying the functionally of the Digitakt

With the new 1.5 finally adding slicing, It's motivated me into getting back to making music on my train commutes to & from work and decided to bust out my Digitakt (now running on a USB battery bank).

Impressive!! A mini-Octatrack indeed. Still not ditching my Octatrack, but Digitakt is starting to look like something I should try beside it.

Another banging update.

Digitakt has got to be one of the most well supported pieces of hardware over recent years. I’ve had mine for years now and have never really felt like I wanted to make any improvements other than adding a second LFO, which it now has, but all the recent updates have been really creative and inspiring. ❤

I'm glad I've had it for a few years because having all these features at once would be a bit jarring, similar to the OT's learning curve. The DT was fairly straightforward "back in the day", now it has a lot going for itself. I'm probably buying a second one..

I got the DT when it first came out, and I am genuinely stunned to still be getting updates on it this late in the game. Elektron's business plan seems to be one of the best and fairest out there these days: continuously improve, and then charge more. Look at how much more a new DT costs compared to 2018! Yes, inflation is real, but Elektron is also earning the right to charge more with these bonkers enhancements.
