Pteromon backseating Shoto is so funny! I really like their dynamic so far.

Largely the inspiration for Pteromon's voice was Benjamin Diskin's Shoutmon! At times it felt like Shoutmon was backseating Taiki too.

Petromon only entered the game at the end, despite having two of his bodies in battle, it made me curious how he didn't care about the death of the perfect level

Honestly if my theory is correct, Digimon card data are just copies of Digimon's Battle/Ability data and lacks a digicore (Soul)

I also have a theory which likely maybe shared as well but I feel this VR world they are in maybe eerily similar to Eden from Cyber Sleuth and in turn maybe a world overlayed over a say destroyed Digital World...Witchelny perhaps?

2:12 i completely missed that on first reading, It's nice to see they're using the memory gauge as a field divider just like in the game

In some of my chapters so far.. I may have exaggerated how big the battlefield is with how many step sounds I have in effect ha ha.

The way of how pteromon and shoto relationship is right now kinda reminds me of another relation from another reading

Lot of great sound effects in Digimon World 1 and World 2

Great work. Liked the music choice and appreciated the voicing part of Crys into hexablou. This ep was a bit iffy for me. Sidelining Arisa and just added more questions. Like how can Pteromon “create” cards or going into the d-storage. Then the card battle is entering-ish, but not a big fan of skipping some effects. Just hope it doesn’t leads to things like Shoto getting cheap wins. Well with the knowledge of the novel, the stakes in this battle feels a bit low but how knows this NPC might be special. Well I hope in the next part. Shoto makes Grandgalemon into Zephage. In turn Shoto gets his red stripes that he have been missing.

Thank you! I'm working on improving the pacing with each episode and making it more interactive. I agree with you in many ways! We've already jumped to sidelining a character (which I get we're trying to focus on Pteromon's introduction) but still Shoemon and Arisa got it really bad. I'm hoping they get better story next chapter.

Actually thanks to webnovel we know the stakes in this battle can actually be bad this is against a rouge npc like what yuuki fights shoto lucky he didnt get his character corrupted it literally says in the webnovel that the debug team is somewhat protected from corruption from rouge npcs due to a emblem that only available to debug team which shoto does not have the webnovel also kind get insight into the creating cards part and according to synopsis of the webnovel part of the debug main goal is turn wild digimon into cards it explained wild digimon are made by a unimplemented cut feature called i.d.e.a.s

@@michaelliggett1622 For me, I will admit that I’m kinda to stupid to understand how dangerous getting your character corrupted. Is it like Eden syndrome or DMIA? Because of my understanding, reading the novel. The real life person you can’t play but your avatar will be doing its own thing. Like if Shoto losses he can just buy another game and still play. Probably starting from scratch but nothing to dangerous. Atleast my understanding of reading the novel.

@@user-se3hu5sm9q rereading it when a character get corrupted it actually makes it unusable and deletes the character it corrupts the emblems work because their back up drives basically tho it not made clear on what effect that has considering it a full dive vr system

That already been explained in the webnovel and tip columns people start with a blank card that get a random effect and the card shows them it a customized tamer card
