We have enjoyed Jamestown on a number of occasions and each time we learn something new. This is what we love the discovery of life in the sixteen hundreds. It is almost like we dig along with you. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm very grateful that you're going to continue these segments. They are filled with a lot of data and information about those that lived there. I noticed in one of the burial shots that the graves do not have the usual pattern of a cemetery. That they were buried haphazardly and in some cases, on top of each other. Was there a known reason for this? Thank you again for these wonderful segments.

I would love to visit jamestown. I have a Huge family Connection There. I'm also a descendant of john going of the white lion. James mckelvey and a few more. I'm not sure when they arrive there except for john going in 1619 which the last name later became gowen. They moved here in South Carolina and Commissioned a fort in 1773 in gowensville and was a captain in the roebuck army.
