Jal Jhulani Ekadashi-held in the month of "Shravana", according to the hindu calander, is a festival celebrated in the ancient historic town of Diggi(Tonk disctrict, Rajasthan, India) with great fervor and enthusiasm. Shri Kalyan ji Maharaj,(an incarnation of Lord Vishnu), the reigning deity of Diggi emerges from his temple in a flower bedecked palanquin followed by deities from all the temples who are also carried in palanquins adorned with flowers.
Ardent devotees move in a procession singing and dancing carrying the palanquins around the village with prayers of raising a good harvest, more prosperity and protection from the evil
