Hmmm definitely easier than a D5 and T4. I'd say a T4 required a climb or a drop, or maybe a swim across of some kind. Hard to say without knowing how far into the woods it was. Congrats on the find!

Looks like a D3 T2 to us. Good you got the cache.

Jeez it could of been an above 3 if it was one of those sections on the wall and cunningly camouflaged. But a camera film under a rock would be a 2 in my book.

Seemed from the video that maybe both D and T were rated too high. Guess its kind of hard to tell since I wasn't there to experience it all. But, congratulations on making the find! Your husband is quite a character.

That looked easy enough, or you both have super power Geo-senses. 😎 I was waiting for the specialised equipment to come out, along with the TOTTs & the irritability that comes with the mental challenge & effort required for a 5... I’ve not even attempted rating 5s yet. Thanks for sharing the type of diff 5 that’s out there.

skatierocks yea, I guess everyone’s rating of a D5 is different. Like u said, I was expecting something super difficult and challenging. Owell, glad we found it though. Usually we can’t find a D5 lol! Thanks for watching

I'd think the difficulty would be more than the T. If there are a lot of rocks. If it's moved a lot then it could be a lot easier to find... dunno, seems like a rating for the initial hide, but easily changes after many finds.

I thought it was a bit high. If you had to abseil down the wall or tree climb then it would of been a 5. Great video though. I've subscribed. I've just started a KZread channel, ok it's only 1 video of a 5T5D I did the other week. It's good to see how other vloggers do it.

I'd call that a 2.5 difficulty at most. Terrain is hard to say without being there. I was fully expecting you to have to climb that wall. I've done one up in a wall that is similar

Maybe? I mean it’s a micro in the woods under a rock. Tree cover could make it extremely difficult for me...umm some folks. From the video I kinda felt the T rating was a little high. I don’t know. Kinda hard if I’m not experiencing it. It’s a smiley regarless!

Seemed like a 3 or 3.5 a half to us . We found a fake rock geocache the other day in a sea of rocks where they had it listed as a 1.5 difficulty lol so you never know what people are thinking sometimes. Nice job finding it .

D5 might have been a nano in that retaining wall. Not sure why that was T4 either.

Hard to say, here in the desert, a lot of caches are under rocks or a pile of rocks and depending on the surroundings most are a 3 maybe up to 4, a bunch of rocks in the desert..... I wouldn’t really consider that buried, just underneath a rock, but still a tricky hide in the woods! 👍

Not 5 for sure, got a similar cache and put 2.5 because you can tell something is out of place.

Possibly a 2-2.5

I would rate terrain 3 and Difficulty4, but more annoying than challenging.

I end up wearing long pants in the summer time. I do not feel that is not a 5/4 I thought you were going to have to climb a tree out get in water. I tell different ares seem to have different D/T Nice find

I don't think that was a D5, maybe more a 2 or 2.5. Also, would that be classified as buried? Caches are not suppose to be buried (sorry not trying to be nitpicky). But it looks like you and Arnold (get in the chopper) had a great time.

Geojerry's Adventures yea I’m not sure if it would be considered buried or not, I’m thinking that’s why they gave it a D5 since it was buried and hidden under the rock? Who knows, thanks for commenting, I thought the D5 rating was a little high

dif 3 maybe, I didnt see anything to make it a T4 , around here T4 would be 40 feet up a tree or cliff , or in a culvert

Brent Smith aka Simrebel yea that’s usually what I think of when I see T4 as well. It was down a hill but not that steep. Most people have averaged saying between a D3 or 4 and I think I would agree. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🙂
