Different ways to FINISH the Arm Triangle in BJJ
Спорт
Bmac shows different grips to use to finish the Arm Triangle BUT explains why they're all the same. The way we get the kill is still the same regardless of grip. More Arm Triangle content available at the link below:

Man, I've been loving the arm triangle for twelve years and this is probably the best video I've ever seen on the breakdown of the position. Appreciate you, sir.

Love that feedback, man. Happy you have found some success with this.
I hit this 3xs on an opponent who had 30 lbs. on me. The difference was the chin slide and head placement for the finish. I didn’t even have to put my hands together or leave mount for the tap. Thanks BMac.

Oooooohhhhh I love it 🥰
Jesus dude this was a really good video, and that “shake the blood” line was hilariously badass. I like that you take things seriously, but with a sense of humor. Thanks.

I take martial arts seriously, but not myself. I’m a disaster 😂
I love that Brandon doesn't shrink away from the truth of what we're doing. This ain't a game.
Cant believe I've been completely missing the detail of getting the shoulder under the chin. I feel so stupid now as its so obvious 😅 thanks!
Why do I love this video so much? Answer~ because of the details and the mentality of cutting through their defenses to cut your head off.
I love the straight spine correction. I alway bend my head and end up sore later. Great details. Thank you from a 54 yo blue belt
Won't find these details anywhere else. Gold.
Wow your breakdowns are absolutely thorough the small details are what we don’t realize and without them the technique doesn’t work
I need that speech at the end at 10:10
These technique videos are absolute gold mines. So we'll narrated and filmed. BM you are the man!

Much appreciated!
Awesome detail, especially the body shift before dismount.
Now I know what I'm missing from the formula 👍
Love arm triangles. My favorite sub. That neck stuff is super important. If they can bend your neck down, then you should be doing it different.
Outstanding breakdown and explanation. I finally feel like I’m starting to understand what makes this effective at each stage of execution. Thank you, my man!
This is literally the best video. Thanks Brandon. I love the way you said don’t get fixed on an idea also.
I saw this video on Facebook and I realized that I needed to get on here and follow Brandon. The details that are discussed on finishing the arm triangle are the best details that I have ever seen. I thought I had a nasty arm triangle, but didn’t realize that I was fighting my head in the pocket with a bent neck until watching this. Hands down my arm triangle will be getting a facelift! Thank you Brandon!

Wow, thank you!
I always think this when it comes to you: Is this your favorite sub to do to ppl?
You're an excellent instructor Coach Brandon Mccraghen! I watched one of your rolling videos yesterday and the commentary afterwards. There were many key things you shared and got me going deeper into your videos. One of the things you mentioned is the 2hrs spent consistently after class studying the art. I'm going back to those basics you've share and cleaning up my trash. I'm also going to work on adding those extra hours studying BJJ. I will rifle focus on these details. I'm a 2 stripe Blue belt and it is time to make some micro adjustments that I wasn't aware of till now. Mahalo nui for your inspiration, detail and content you have shared.

one of the best videos on KZread
I will say this. I fought off I think it was two tries from one of Brandon’s guys with the arm triangle. Honestly was super nasty. Got me by north south in the end. Was brutal.
Push their shoulder with your chest…I have you and your channel to thank for that technique 🙏🏼 Great content, great channel
Thank you Sir, this is the most profound, detailed video, i've ever come across on my favourite move.

@@brandonmcninja Im currently white belt and started about 8 months ago. I guess you can say I’ve fallen down the “Jiu jitsu rabbit hole” lol. I’m addicted and I wish I would’ve started earlier haha. We haven’t got to the arm triangle in our curriculum but naturally, I discovered that I love it. I literally watched this video 2 days ago, went to train yesterday and tapped 2 different people using your techniques. Also, I did it using a lot less strength and more technique. ✊🏽

@@brandonmcninja thank you brother! 🙏🏽
My 2nd time watching this video because i had too many opportunities to get an arm triangle yesterday but wasn't confident in my technique since i mistakenly got swept out of one last week. Accidentally sprained my groin on Sunday but didn't notice until practice yesterday when we started warm ups...even shrimping hurt. We drilled half guard which was really rough with a sprained groin despite informing my partners of my injury. Curious as to what are some stretching techniques you use and your recovery routine afterwards, much love
Great teaching. Do you have a video on this from close guard?
These are great details. I was using a rear naked grip set to finish, but I like your finish better. Bro, and how do you not lift weights and you’re in sick shape!? Your legs are ripped!
@brandonmcninja
Жыл бұрын
Thanks dude! I’ve always had big legs, even when I was little twerp in high school. And then I train literally hours a day. So I don’t lift but I get a lot of hard work in.

Serious question … can bigger guys do jiu jitsu? I’ve been a wrestler all my life and I’m 16, 6,1 and 280 so I’m a big ass dude and I wanna start jiu jitsu so would I be able to do this martial art effectively
