Dupont latex is the longest lasting foam. It is 100% natural and has been made for over 80 years. You can put your face in it and breath no problem, no chemical toxicity.

Latex needs Memory foam With it. Latex by itself is Supportive, Relaxing. BUT the deeper you sink into it, it will “resist” you, it is Firm. Memory foam balances things out getting the pressure off.

the memory foam layer is the toplayer of a mattress, there is always a support layer underneath it...there are no matresses that are made only of memeory foam.... good info but not totally true.

They make some mattresses that keep cold and are memory foam

One bit of info that nobody mentions, HR Polyurethane foam with an ILD of 50 is what many people with back issues need, something VERY firm. And latex cannot provide that level of firmness.

@@christinabacon697 Foams are cheap cheap quality. Go with Arpico natural latex, they are they best materials in the mattress business, ive researched this for weeks and weeks you can thank me later. Follow this person on youtube called buildyourownbed

I have a pu foam mattress I have had it for years. And unlike this video mine is a firm foam unlike the soft foam used.

@Ed not yet. as long as you get a high enough density one it will take years to happen. with foam density doesnt always mean firm, u can get high density soft foam as well as low density firm foam.

I have this one but found it too thin so got a mattress topper several years ago which was fantastic, but they no longer make them. Now looking for a memory foam topper and unsure which is best for this mattress. Any advice?

I found the answer. It's safe. The latex in mattresses is the similar as the latex in tires, so you wouldn't get an allergic reaction. Latex gloves and balloons use a different type that can cause reactions kzread.info/dash/bejne/a6qplK-cn9OrZbw.html

the scam of this video is that if they left the first bed to a 3” layer and didn’t cut the first bed to 3 thin layers.. which no one does.. it would have the same effect as the duron 3” section. its funny that this demo would trick people into believing there is a vast difference lol.

😝 I bought a memory foam topper online. After undoing the vacuum packaging it released an overwhelming musty mould odor. The company insist that it is normal for the foam to have a chemical smell . This is not chemical but musty and mouldy smell. Can someone describe the chemical smell so i can discern the difference . To me it smells like MOULD.

Is this an advertisement for a product or the truth ?

Its an ad with clear bias. I mean, poly foam is one of the most versatile foams there is. There is a reason everyone puts it in their mattresses. You can make it cheap with low density, throw it in a comfort layer, and sure it will suck. You can also get something like 2.8lb high density poly foam as a support base and easily have it do that job 10+ years. Memory foam can be made high density and last for a very long time as well, it will have a more gooey feel and the criticism of its properties is more of a preference than a fact. Many people prefer that feeling of being "hugged" in your bed. Then his Duron Foam.. never even heard of it. Literally nobody uses it except them still, and this video is about 10 years old.

No no no. The 2 most common foams used in every mattress are terrible. His foam that nobody has ever heard of is what you need.

So much BS. I've been sleeping on whatever it's called foam mattress and it's fantastic. Technology is being used even where it's not required.
