Hi Krutika, thanks for watching the video. Having SQL is not necessary to be a BA but it is highly desirable. You can find plenty of jobs that dont need SQL skills, but you are in a more advantageous position if you do have it.

Hi Ghost, thanks for watching the video and supporting my channel. Associate BA is an entry level BA role in most organizations. You would likely be working under the guidance of another BA or Product Owner in an associate BA role.

@@karaleise thank u for the reply.. But now I am confused.. I started as a BA and worked on it for 3 years then i became associate manager business analytics where I was leading a team of BAs but After switching and almost getting 150% hike now I am a Associate business analyst

@@ghostofuchiha8124 Remember every organization comes up with their job titles and the job responsibilities. 'Associate' in most organizations is an entry level role - however your company can make it whatever they like. Some companies use levels, some companies say every BA is a managerial role etc... you can ask your HR for the career path for BAs at your company. If they dont have one, you can look at the org chart or ask your manager about your job title. You can even ask them to change it to something you think is more appropriate. I've seen that done too. Clarify with them what the title "Associate BA" means for them. Hope that helps!
