DIFFERENCE between Bandeja vs Vibora! PADEL SMASHES

These 2 shots are so often confused both off court and (importantly) in a match! In this video we explain the differences between the techniques, where and how to play them!

There are some major differences between these 2 strokes, with technique, but mainly with the intention of the shot. This is important when you play a game, make sure the intention is clear and therefore the shot is clear. If you are not sure about which to hit and you hit something in-between you often end up in trouble!

Great video as usual, Sandy! One question that is partially related to this video and other ones: when close to net, how do you decide to go whether for the vibora, smash or attacking slice? I am a beginner myself (

Thanks for the question Dan, this shot selection is something that comes with match experience. But there are a couple of things to look for. If your opponent is close to the back glass and the ball is short that's a good time for the fast, flat smash. If you are slightly further back and they are in a normal position (or even 1 step forward) I would use the vibora (which is the attacking slice smash)...I hope that helps!

In this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/fn2gsryHqL2ymNY.html you are telling the junior to not hit the vibora hard, let it die in the corner instead. But in this video you prefer doing vibora with speed?
