Anyone who thinks there's been a better player to ever walk this earth needs to take a good long look at this video. It's pure sorcery. Unbelievable sublime jaw dropping skills. Messi, make no mistake is one fantastic player. Absolutely he is. But Diego's skills are so mind blowing. Some of those moves defy physics. You're left yourself saying time and again. How the hell did he do that. There's never been a player like him and for my money , never will be In his prime and injury free,he was unplayable. Kicked and hacked to death on poor pitches. Diego forever. What a player!!!!!!

Greatest Player of All Times - Diego Armando Maradona. There were many good and great players like Di Stefano, Puskas, Pele, Garrincha, Eusebio, Cruyff, Zico, Platini, Van Basten, Gullit, Romario, R. I don't care what anyone says of today's players. Maradona hands down was the greatest player to walk to planet. He won the World Cup in 86 single handedly. I remember watching those games. Mediocre team at best. If it weren't for Maradona Argentina would have had no chance in that tournament. He almost did it again in 1990's world cup. Not to mention had a severely injured ankle at the time, but still played. A talent given to him to rise him and his family out of the slums of Argentina by GOD himself.

Had to be seen to truly understand it. Imagine, in some of these clips he's almost toying with defenders like he's at home playing with his kids. In 30 mins of highlights you can't show another player in existence with his capabilities. No player on earth replicates 86, nor winning with Napoli with completely average players around them. Just stop Maradona and you succeed, they not only couldn't, but he's also doing fucking tricks with the ball in the corner to entertain the crowd, while defenders try to chop him down. Completely different level of footballer.

I challenge anyone who has any real knowledge of football to watch the whole 30 minutes of this and try to make a case for Diego maradona NOT to have been the GOAT. And not just, but by a country mile. Messi doesn't come close, great though he was. Zidane too and Cruyff.He produced moments of such jaw dropping magic, again and again you find yourself asking yourself -How could he have done that ? Anyone who thinks otherwise just isn't at the races.A God in Naples and safe to say there's never been a player quite like him and never will be.

True. Messi and co. had some his skills but none had the combination. The long ball passing, the going on and on regardless of how bad he got kicked, the genius vision, bicyclekick passes it is just without end. And many of the clips here are from a kkid 16-17 yers old in some of the toughest competition at the time (Argentina).

I had many chances to see him play live and I must say that perhaps Maradona's greatest skill, which neither this fantastic video can show, is that he had the capacity, with his charisma and his generosity, to transform even the worst players of his team (and Napoli for example had many mediocre players at that time) in very good players...

That's one of the many important aspects that so so so many people fail to factor in or understand. You can't measure inspiration and leadership ability, but no one else could do those things better. Players merely compare in an aspect or two sure. He was and still is, light years ahead not only technically, he was world's away in aspects that can't be measured. People actually believe that Messi compares to this man in any way at all.

Los jugadores que fueron mas influyentes en mi juego cuando era chico eran: El Ratón Rodriguez, Ronald Koeman, Diego Maradona, Lothar Matthaus, Jari Litmanen, Romario, Gheorge Hagi, Hristo Stoichkov, Michel Preud'homme, Sergio Goycochea, El Arquero Russo de Pelo Largo de los 90's (averigüen en si) y Roberto Palacios.
