May I please know what is your earliest memory and history with anything relating to México such as our people, our culture (food, art, movies, music, etc) as far back as you can possibly remember as a child or teenager in the United States of America? In other words how did you first learn about Mexico growing up? Perhaps your very first knowledge of México occurred in school, or from watching a movie, or a television show, or accidentally listening to a Mexican song on the radio? Or maybe it was your father or mother or another person who first introduced you to anything relating to México for the very first time? For example, I was only 5 years old in 1984 when my father took me to watch the movie Rocky IV in theaters. This was the first time that I ever heard the words: The United States of America. Before watching Rocky IV, I didn't even know what the United States was or its existence. Again I'm very curious to know your honest answers and please forgive me for bothering you so much.

My current crush is definitely Tenoch Huerta which is weird cause I have not had an actual crunch on a celeb since middle school (I’m old). Lol. I just found out about Mr. Calva from this interview. So great to see someone who learnt almost the same way as I did the English language. Via lyrics translation, movies with subtitles, school and the good education matter too but you have to build the language learning into your hobbies so you can learn faster. PS: once I praised Ana's English I was yelled at in the comment section like oh English is not sooo hard and stuff but as a non-English speaker, we deserve the recognition for talking in a language fluently which fundamentally is not ours.

7AUG23 - Just now finished watching BABYLON. Why did it take me this long?! Crazy AF movie... Made me wonder all through out watching it, "Where the hell has this guy been?!" He was wonderful in this movie! Everyone in it was good but Diego was GREAT and seeing him in this interview made me admire him even more. I wish him the best! @DiegoCalva, nada me da mas gusto que ver a un Hispano triunfar en los EUA pero contimás si es Mexicano. Espero poder continuar viendo que sigas triunfando y que nunca pierdas la humildad que se te nota en esta entrevista. ❤
