I like white trucks usually because you can add some pinstripes easier to enhance the color, but I like the red rig more in this case. I just found out this week that IH makes this truck for real...I’m impressed with it. I guess they don’t make it in a sleeper version but that’s ok...day cabs have their place in the truck world, too. 😳 Cool job. Merry Christmas from the Porters.

I wish they sold the jeep separately, already own the black one.

When it was mandated that all Diesel engines had to have all the emissions junk ie DEF and the DPF, caterpillar ceased making engines for trucks. The only engines in Internationals are International’s proprietary engine or Cummins.

Do you have a favorite tractor trailer set-up?

I really like the 349 set up. But don't you need the jeep or the dolly to. Haul that 349

I agree....for the price of these models the outriggers should have been functional + included airlines on the tractor/truck. I bought both the white 520/XL with no load + the white set you reviewed here. In addition, I purchased the 620 tractor/truck because of it's 3rd axle. However, another thing that stinks about these sets is that the jeep 'CANNOT be used in conjunction with the 620; because the neck is not long enough to attach to the 620's 5th wheel (even with the 5th wheel pushed all the way to the back). It fits just fine with XL lowboy's goose neck. But I wanted to stretch the set out as far as possible. Using the 620 with the 2 axle jeep/XL lowboy/2 axle booster would have made the set more impressive + able to carry loads a bit more hefty (realistically speaking !).

No cat engine because cat isnt doing over the road trucking at this time. However they are in development if new over the road engines

Also since i just so happen to work at an international dealership the hx 520 you can order with the international a26, cummins isx15, or cummins x15 engine.

Hi Steve. Yes, I have purchased many models from both those companies over the years. They are both very professional, and have always taken care of me should any possible issue arise with a product or shipping.

Internationals new engine the A26 is actually made by MAN trucks in Europe not by International.

Where can I get them, other than Ebay or Amazon?

Thanks for the info. I was gonna write to a retailer to ask about the jeep but your vid answer the question. That's too bad only the white one has the jeep. DM is releasing a set with the jeep and trailer without the excavator here: www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/catalogs.asp?RChar=S&Mfg=DM But it's so sad that they didn't design the jeep gooseneck to be extendable like the trailer gooseneck so you can use the 620 tractor.

We're would you buy these trucks?

It's an international truck so it's not going to have a cat motor unless it's a Caterpillar truck

No Cat Motor Because That's An International HX (A Brand New Truck ) Cat Stopped Making Over the Road Truck Motors Years Ago Because Of Emissions!
