Man I was all in gonna buy this until I saw the price!! $650! For a planetary trans, knock off motor...2 speed cost extra, sound module extra...I'd buy it as is if it was around 400 tops. Dang it. I just don't see 650 here lol. Great vid though! Love the channel!

Yep

The wheels come off by undoing the 6 tiny nuts with a generic cross wrench. There’s. A little disc and hub behind that you can undo and fit a normal hex 1.9 wheel

I like the angles and with a scale rig it's sometimes hard to tell if it's rc or 1:1

I had 1 a few years back when rc4wd sold them. Not the most capable but was definitely a fun truck to drive. If you want to change the wheels to use a standard 12mm hex the plastic disc brake rotators from a traxxas udr are a direct fit. From what I remember you can use the stock brake caliper for scale 😎👍

Love this scale look, my Ezra would fit nice behind the wheel. I run a 35T with a 3:1 planetary gearbox on a HW 1080 and drag brake set to 0%, my truck does not move on a hill without input from the controller. I bet that ESC doesn't have drag brake at all. For the price it should come with LEDs installed.

Thanks Al. I always look for your comments on the audio from you. Pleased its improved someone what. I still have a little white noise and reverb to deal with in the Workshop… but the lapel mic with the wind muff does a good job of keeping it a little clearer.

Fewer still will notice the slight 'budget' sound of your lapel (but I'm trained fairly well at hearing those details) mic but it even keeps my ears happier than most channels. I don't want to seem like a know-it-all, but I wanted you to do well on 'Tube and that's why I've been offering. Looking forward to lots more vids. Cheers, Phil.

Its an awesome scale trail truck, in my colour, i would love it, but i could never justify the cost...... Looking forward to seeing what you do with this, maybe a tow rig with 5th wheel adapter for a covered trailer with your drift car in.......

Good looking truck, and as you said a trail truck so good for Pottering about. I do remember seeing this somebody reviewed it, was not cheap back then and I did think it was a four door also probably wrong though.

Could of at least used wago clips if going down that route 😬😂 would expect better for the money really! Also they advertise the RC4GS remote but yours came with a Dumbo? Certainly looks good I like that it has the locking diffs and the body plus interior 😎 disappointed those light buckets are not filled with a little led kit. Really had potential to be an awesome little scale trail truck if not for those few things 🤷‍♂️ I know there minor and easily sorted for just a few quid, but that kind of makes it worse. Gives the impression corners have been cut for them to save pennies in the grand scheme of it all. I honestly feel gutted that it dint fulfill its potential. Great video as always thank you Sir 🙏

Man I didn’t know they were reselling them after RC4WD discontinued them! Pretty cool. Seems a little pricey though 😬

Looks good. Only thing I would say is it could do with being 5mm higher with slightly bigger wheels. not to turn it into crawler but to give it even more realistic proportions even just a slightly deeper wheel offset would improve it. But that's me being really picky

You can have that and the Dually that's out and you will have a 150 and a 350 Dually. All we need is for someone to bring out the F250 in a single or Dually and we are good to go.

Jdmodel is a seriously good scale 4x4 builder, check out the jdm168 by jd models, 4 speed electric all metal. Its the best scale 4x4 jeep you can possibly get for 3500. I would absolutely love to see you do your ocd review of that bad mamajama!

The flex of the suspension is disappointing, if it possible, one should convert it to a link sort of rig for more flex. On, and, it's a RC4WD Dessert runner---I think. Did JD Model make any modifications to it, I mean in the chassis?

You should upgraded the chassis, to make it more highlift and bouncy, nice test run, the truck needs serious mods soon. (Grade B-)

Yep. I like the posh camera, low slung footage for the slow stuff. Nice! I know it's a 1?10th trail truck, but seeing as it is an accurate scale representation of a full size F150, then it does make me wonder how capable that stock full size F150 truck actually is. Apart from power differences I reckon my Old Discovery 2 TD5 was more capable. :)

Well, as for the capabilities of the full size F150....they have stopped being trucks and are now more soccer mom SUVs. More gadgets and jimmy jims than a bentley. Supposedly the Raptors are real off roaders but who knows?

are you referring to the diffs? locked and unlocked? The full size trucks can be ordered with limited slip which means that if you get one wheel spinning due to mud or snow, it locks up the diff using brakes inside so it transfers power to both wheels. There's a sort of centrifugal clutch on each axle

Have you thought if trying that stick on camera you have stuck to the inside of the passenger window and kicking Harry out. May be able to get some very cool "In Cab" driving shots. And yeah, GoPro's are good but not pro video.
