I love the cinematography in this one, it really feels like a hot overcast day in NYC, also the fact that it was shot on location in New York gives the film a genuine feel. It shatters my heart that Bruce is retiring due to a terrible illness. 😔

At least he gave us a shit ton of good movies..the 4 Die Hard movies...I refuse to count the 5th are great examples of Bruce Willis and I'm both sad and happy he retired...he did it on his own terms! Live Free or Die Hard will always be the final!

@@StarWolf_88 Live Free just doesn't fit well with the first three movies. It just lacks that 80/90s aesthetic. The cinematography takes a huge dip with the weird bluish tint. McClane isn't the same, and it was released as PG-13. Like Indiana Jones, for me, it's a trilogy.

@@StarWolf_88 I agree, and I think this is why there's a lot of contention among fans about whether Die Hard 2 was even a good movie: I always thought it was, even if it was entirely disconnected from the plot in 1 and 3. This is what happens when you don't give Bruce Willis the role of Vincent Vega! Willis went as far as to ask Samuel L. Jackson to play his "sidekick" as they both wanted screen time together. In Pulp Fiction, Butch & Julles do not share the screen ever. Poetic justice when Butch shoots Vincent.
