Und aus dem Grund bin ich auch dafür dass wir als gemeinsames Element in einem Vielfältigen Land morgens in den Schulen die Nationalhyme singen sollten. Als Zeichen dafür dass wir alle eins sind und trotzdem jeder für sich individuell in einem freien Land und freien Menschen.

Na dann mal einen schönen Tag der deutschen Einheit an alle, die das heute vielleicht noch lesen. Freuen wir uns, dass man heute in Deutschland und auch in Europa so eng und friedlich miteinander lebt. Im Moment mag es hie und da kriseln und bröckeln, aber auch die schweren Zeiten gehören zu einer jeden Beziehung dazu und müssen durchgestanden werden :)

Funny... as a blond Dutchman, I do know the meaning of being Multicultural with our 198 nationalities in my country, but I thought the German anthem spoke of Einigkeit, and the European anthem spoke of Alle Menscher werden Bruder, nice to see that Iberia(I think a portuguese name) shares the same values...

Das Problem mit diesem Textteil besteht in der Interpretation. Während der Weimarer Zeit veränderte sich die Interpretation der ersten beiden Strophen. Fallersleben meinte mit diesem Textteil, dass die Einheit in einem deutschen Staat über den Interessen der damaligen Einzelstaaten wie Preußen, Bayern, Sachsen, Württemberg uvm. zu stellen sind. Spätestens in der NS-Zeit wurde der besagte Textteil so ausgelegt, dass Deutschland über allen anderen Ländern stehen solle.

Nicht Zufall, sondern Wille ist die treibende Kraft die Menschen zusammenhält und eine Nation ausmacht. Es geht eben nicht um das Stück Land, sondern um die Menschen die sich entscheiden zusammen zu leben, um die Gesellschaft die sie bilden und um das, was diese Gesellschaft entscheidet und erreicht. Why some people do not sing it? I mean in the national football team. If, just IF, I had had the honor to become a German citizen and play for the national team, I WOULD SING THAT ANTHEM WITH ALL MY HEART. just as I sing the Guatemala anthem (the best lyrics in America from my point of view). I'm german and i've got the same opinion like you. Im very sad that some of them dont sing our anthem. Some of them like Lukas Podolski are german-polish, but they decided to play football for the german team so i think its important to sing the anthem.
