Grande Didi. Not as flashy as others, but as a Juve fan he was my favourite midfielder in the mid 90s. Always in control of the situation. His personality and guidance to teammates was outstanding even from young age. Not a coincidence he was the OM captain in the 1993 CL victory when he was only 25
Seriously underrated he won everything in football yet he’s never mentioned as a great player

Great midfielder. Didier and Paulo Sousa were a great duo in 1994/95 Juventus midfield
Only poor knowers of football can say Deschamps was useless on a field. I invite anyone to watch world cup final in 1998 or euro final in 2000, he is a pure monster.
We can say what we want about Deschamps, but we can only say one certainty: He has succeeded in many clubs with his fighting spirit, his endurance and his determination where he has gone. In addition, as a player, he is the captain of the world and European champion with the French team. One of those players, like Denis Irwin or Lillian Thuram, who you noticed more when they were absent. And their respective teams looked considerably more disjointed than normal. An excellent player.

@@forzaom1323 le souci avec la masse, et les commentaires de ce genre c’est que tu veux trouver forcement un bouc émissaire alors que ça soit le Qatar ou Deschamps ou la FFF et d’autres font parti de la même saloperie systémique... tu viens vers moi en me disant et le qatar? Pourquoi tu fais une comparaison deja? En gros ce que tu fais, c’est que tu insinues que j’ai dit que le Qatar était bien! Ai-je dit ça? Non. Est ce que je le pense? Bernard Tapie était un formidable président d’un point de vue sportif, c’était aussi la pire des crevures dans l’organisation des hommes... chez ce monsieur se dégageait le meilleur comme le pire... je te conseille d’écouter Greg Lemond sur Tapie... On peut aussi dire que Zidane le grand Zidane était chargé à la Juv’, est ce que ça enlève le fait qu’il n’était pas un grand joueur? Non. Est ce qu’il était dopé? oui... nous a t-il trompé? Oui On peut la faire dans tous les sens... Gerets et Goethals avant qu'ils viennent à l’OM par exemple ont eu des affaires de corruption au cul... on peut la faire longtemps...
