This song reminds me of my aunt when she said she had seen angels in her room and she told them that she wasn't ready to go yet. Though she still ended up passing away a few years after that because she got tired. This song always makes me emotional remember that. That part when he says " if you don't want to stay you can go" because I felt like that , I didn't want her to go but it was selfish of me to want her stay when she was tired and in so much pain. I was even warned of her passing years before she passed. So this song is really so bitter sweet.

Very underrated song I don’t understand how this song wasn’t a top 10 hit in 2009.Diddy as a musician doesn’t get the respect he deserves. He even used AutoTune differently than many other musicians did at that time. They even had Biggie on the song and substance of this song was great and the vocals on the sing was great too

april powell Puff lured Biggie to that party he died at after Now he's worth almost A Billion Dollars everybody gotta do the math It was definitely a set up from Puff: 1) D-Roc had to keep his mind clear that time so he did no drinking & no smoking. He sat directly behind BIG so im sure his job was to position BIG at the spot where he is suppose to be sitting & give the killers their location at all times so they know where to be at. D-Roc wears a yellow shirt so he’s easy to be spotted. Where ever D-Roc is at....biggie is close by. 2) Puff always keeping Genes mind occupied with many girls to remember to keep Gene distracted from derailing the assassination plan from going wrong. Black Gesus from the Mob Piru of death row even said it...” i thought that shit was strange...i think they did that shit themselves. Because if it was a Compton N***a who killed Biggie...i would’ve known about it. You know im a real street N***a & ain’t nobody from around here did that shit”. "IN THIS LAND OF SNAKES..WHERE THE HAND YOU SHAKE..MAY VERY WELL BE THE SAME HAND THAT'S PLANNING YOUR WAKE" ! SINCERELY, WHAT'S YOURS IS ALSO MINE WHEN YOU DIE..BECAUSE I OWN ALL YOUR MASTERS & PUBLISHING..... LOVE FOREVER EVILLY, DIDDY.."IN YOUR OWN BLOOD". Big was broke so it is safe to assume that big needed money at the time to continue work on Bigs moms house 🏡 etc..if this is true then Big would have made the sacrifice to come to Cali under puffs wishes to get that money under any means nececary riiight... thus leading to his demise.... That's why they both were in separate vehicles when Biggie was shot in the drive by. BIGGIE said on live TV he is scared Puff: He never told me his life was in danger / every man has a Judas Iscariot in their life. Every man will be betrayed at some point; and those who end up betraying us are always the ones whom we deem as family or friends . Those who are closest to us and know everything about us, have the true power to hurt us It’s damn shame / R.I.P Notorious B.I.G 72-97

How you make out on a song like this r get intimate 😢
This song reminds me of my aunt when she said she had seen angels in her room and she told them that she wasn't ready to go yet. Though she still ended up passing away a few years after that because she got tired. This song always makes me emotional remember that. That part when he says " if you don't want to stay you can go" because I felt like that , I didn't want her to go but it was selfish of me to want her stay when she was tired and in so much pain. I was even warned of her passing years before she passed. So this song is really so bitter sweet.

❤After MJ's incident, for the first time in my life, I see a man fighting alone against the whole world. I knew that Diddy was strong, that's what made me fall in love with him. But I didn't know that he was really that strong. If there was anyone else in his place, he would either go crazy or leave the country.i love him more than before❤
Among all Diddy's masterpieces, this is my favorite. 😇

I remember sitting up watching music videos in the morning before school, and singing this song, feeling emotions much too deep for my 15 year old soul. found it again today nearly 12 years later and I'm still floored. the only other song that feels this haunting to me after all this time is Feel It In The Air by Beanie Sigel

i found this song when my self loathing was at an all time high. i won't go into details, but i was treating myself like shit, like i was something to be ashamed of. when i listen to it now, i shake my head at the kid i was then. i've changed a lot but i'm glad my taste in music hasn't because this is a fucking masterpiece

2023 checking in
Very underrated song I don’t understand how this song wasn’t a top 10 hit in 2009.Diddy as a musician doesn’t get the respect he deserves. He even used AutoTune differently than many other musicians did at that time. They even had Biggie on the song and substance of this song was great and the vocals on the sing was great too
The nostalgia, memories when I was getting ready for school, it's overwhelming me, nostalgia overload...

april powell Puff lured Biggie to that party he died at after Now he's worth almost A Billion Dollars everybody gotta do the math It was definitely a set up from Puff: 1) D-Roc had to keep his mind clear that time so he did no drinking & no smoking.

After Gene Deal exposes how Diddy knew his mans was gonna get hit and he let it happen, give this song a whole different feeling. Kinda makes me think this is why he wanted to sue Empire cause he thought they were telling his life story. Giving the fact that Lucius murdered his mans. Makes you think.
