My favourite memory was how humble human being he is.
He doesn’t look his best but my word, this man was fearless and fearsome in abundance.
It's such a shame that he was avoided by everyone in his prime years. Even Canelo waited till GGG turned 35 to fight him.

@JesusChristmotivation In Canelo's defense, one can say Canelo was not in his prime when GGG was like 30 or 32. So, Canelo's team made the right choice to wait. They didn't want the Mayweather mistake to be repeated with GGG.

One of the most humble, innocent looking man, but the most evaded boxer because of his power and ironchin. No fancy things, it's all about the sport. The only boxer that was never been knockdown.
Triple G is a great ambassador for boxing.

As Humble as they come a true champion .....
My favorite memory of Gennady Golovkin is watching his training in detail and emulating everything that he does. I'm now the most powerful boxer of my gym at only 180 lbs, simply because Gennady's body mechanics taught me to throw all of my rotation/weight into my punches. Thanks GGG- my GOAT middleweight after Sugar Ray Robinson.

GGG is my favourite boxer of all time and he’s very respectful and humble boxer ever lived. He’s a good example and a leader to the generation to come and he’ll always be remembered as a true warrior ever since until now.

Gennady deepened my already-incredible love for boxing. His sportsmanship was second to none. He was so exciting to watch, and he rarely talked crap and did his talking in the ring (love his reaction to Stevens prefight; yep, he was serious lol). When I saw him in this video, I was shocked that tears formed instantaneously. I miss him in boxing so much and hope one day to simply shake his hand. Two losses he did not deserve and should only have 1. It is the reason I went to boxing judge seminar and took the test afterward. Love and happiness to you and your family, Gennady!

That corker of a body shot against Matthew Macklin was right up there (sorry Matt!)! Hope he (GGG) doesn't look to comeback, though. The man has been a brilliant ambassador for boxing, so would hate to see his reputation tarnished by some awful loss just for the sake of some money. Also looks like he's carrying a few pounds! Good luck to him. He's in his 40's, so it must surely be time for him to live the comfy life.
