The ONLY time I've seen TRUE aggressive shitting, was when I was partying with friends when I was a kid. A friend of ours passed out on the couch, my buddy yanked his sweatpants down to fart in her face... So he pushed aggressively ... His bark had bite. We all were, literally, rolling on the ground crying from laughing so hard. She STILL, 30 years later, has no idea how she got the nickname 'Freckles'.

Maybe the farting is an addition of the video edition, like the canned laughters in the TV shows 🤣🤣 By the way, watching gorillas bodies I can confirm that, although being animals extremely strong, they don't have much a perceptible musculature (and a lot less abs) so the gym is a fashion, natural, but fashion in the end, invented by the greeks. What a blessed fashion! Seriously speaking, maybe the farting comes from eating too much quantity in very little time without chewing it correctly.

Gorillas are one the most lovely beings on Earth. And the babies are simply adorable🥰. They are not aggressive as chimps and eat veggies and seem to be very loving towards each other😊
Look at the professionalism right there. They don't laugh at farts. Very professional!

Singing? More like humming. I guess when some people are happy they humm. Eating food makes me happy so the gorillas are probably happy while eating.

Mouth hole: sings Butt hole: you call that singing, listen to this.
That gorilla baby is the cutest most beautiful little thing ever
I use to do this too, soft humming when eating something I like very much. And I wasn’t even aware that I did it for years, until somebody told me. So this is so relatable.

I did it as a child. I wasn’t aware of it. One day at dinner the whole family jumped on me about it. I never did it again. Years later my brother told me he felt bad about it. Those two incidents are the only things I remember about it. Don’t step on people’s joy.

When my daughter was a toddler she used to hum and wiggle back and forth every time she ate. We called it the "Happy Food Song." 😊

Finding them in the mist should be easy...with your nose and ears..wow I'm jealous
My cat does this while eatting. Wouldn't be surprised if making quiet happy vocalizations was an ancestral trait of most mammalia.
I also sometimes get really excited when eating good food, and I might hum a happy tune or do a little dance. I'm glad to see that I'm not weird in this.
That simply showing and proving us that even Gorillas have feelings. Music are feelings.

Yes! Dogs and cats can understand it, too. Horses understand but can't make the noises, they just nicker and nuzzle. If you make purring happy noises when you eat, or pet them they soon learn to copy the noises to pet you. It's the closest you can get to talking to them. "This is a good thing!"

So beautiful, intelligent beings....makes me sad we're destroying home...and ours. On a lighter note...the farting cheered me up..made me laugh when needed it.
They're singing the 'nom, nom, nom" song with added subwoofer..
Jokes aside, im genuinely curious if they sing related to their mood (like human does) or not,bcs this just show how emotionally advanced they are!

When I lived in Belize back in the 80's at night the monkeys would make a sound before it got dark. It was like their way of roosting. It was really creepy at times.
Now THIS is reality TV I could watch all day.

These happy sounds were called "belch vocalizations" by Dian Fossey in Gorillas In the Mist. Mother gorillas would calm their infants by making the vocalizations as well.

2 years ago I was in the city when a huge fat woman in front of me farted. Went into my mouth and I thought I could taste it. Still makes me sick.

By the time you cross 65 and everything you consume makes you fart, it will be a lot less funny.

I have a puerile sense of humour when it comes to bodily functions even though I’m a middle aged woman😊.
I wouldn't name a humming sound of well-being "singing". My sister and I did exactly the same at our family dinner table as small children.
Singing? To call that singing is quite a stretch, sounds more like grunting to me. This video should have been called "gorillas grunt and fart".

these gorillas are just LOVING their food… so beautiful ✨
