I had 1 genius. While he came from the boonies mostly dealing with farming, when he went into engineering as a field he basically aced everything as long as he wasn't lazy in studying or listening during class, which was a rare problem for him. He has incredible memory and comprehension, not only would he remember obscure info but he had a great level of putting all knowledge and inter-mix it to get something new. But he had a huge unexpected flaw. I don't what to call it, stage fright or what, but when he was put in front of a lathe and he had to do a simple practice task, he froze up not knowing what to do. Simply asking him questions on the order would result in him answering and he'd actually do it, we needed to guide him through it with questions step by step.

Had an autistic kid who was smart but was a bit awkward and liked to dress like a cowboy, etc, but he was definitely smart. He won like student of the Year or whatever it was

A guy in my class was very intelligent, as he had an eidetic memory. Like, one day our math teacher told us for fun about pi (we shouldn't work with pi until about 2 years later) and this little sucker just casually said pi with 8 digits. He had seen it in a Donald Duck magazine one time and just memorised that shit. Another was when he at boy scouts learned the entire Morse system in 10 minutes and could recite every letter and number without fail. He was also an avid speller - he aced every dictation we had in class, I only think there was once when he had 1 word wrong, which made him absolutely furious. But, as mentioned in this video, he was very socially awkward. He often sat in class and just looked straight ahead, like he was in his own world, and he would stay away from most of his classmates. But there wasn't a mean bone in him; he was really good natured, which meant he was easy to take advantage of by bullies. His social ineptitude soon developed into severe introversion and today he doesn't have a job and has never had a wife or even a GF.
