I decided to visit a local Shopping Mall in Moscow, Russia I search out did russian brand leave Russia and Do Russian really buy things in Russian Shopping Malls. Also did Western Brands leave Russia for good, or have they just changed names and continued to trade.

Russell, you announced in the description that you will check "did Western Brands leave Russia or good, or have they just changed names and continued to trade[?]" So, what did you find out ? Did the Western brands who announced they have left Russia, really did it for good, or have they just changed names and continue to trade covertly ?

@@alexleibovici4834 western banks worked in Russia like as russian banks (like russian firms, registered on russian laws) with western "motherbrands" names. Some of them were in top15. As I know Citybank (USA) and UniCredit (EU) leave Russia ans sell their business. It was big banks but not top5. People wasnt loose their money, they were transfered to another banks with their deposits and loans. All cards working on russian territory. Even Visa and Mastercard, cause Russia has own processing system, not use visa or mastercard processing. But russian cards visa and Mastercard not work abroad. MIR is a russian "Visa" or "Mastercard" system. There are many cards of this system.

@@alexleibovici4834 As CocaCola example: russians can buy just now: 1) original CocaCola, which named CocaCola and produced in Kazakhstan, Poland or other countries. 2) original CocaCola, which named Dobry and produced on former CocaCola plants. Was it real selling business or only in papers and brands , i dont know. Ussually western brands sell their businesses to....their russian topmanagers. 3) very many another brands colas , which were not CocaCola before feb2022.

What I see is totally not what Western Govt's expected you to be able to show. An economy that is not crushed, a supply chain working very well. When I see pallets of Mexican beer, Central American banana's, and items from around the world, whoever runs the supply chain deserves a medal. These items would be the first to go if there were supply problems. I doubt even a crafty Australian can get together thousands of actors to help you make a video, keep up the good work. The truth is the truth.

Our malls in the US are slowly being strangled by a new mindset within our younger generations and society in general. We are moving towards less frivolously spend. This is also a move to get away from the consumeristic mindset. Many children have closets full of clothing that they wore a few times. All while their parents both work and wonder why they cannot make ends meet. How about spend less and save more. Keep at least one parent home to raise their children after we learn to save and not shop every penny away from our paychecks. This is what the US in many circles are moving towards. It is only logical to do so.

Wow big crowds. The festive mood has started. Here(india) too went shopping to get some clothes for my mother (Christmas gifts) . Managed through the crowds. In regards to video The multiple colors boost the mood. The 🌲 xmas tree and the chair throne is decorated like the 'lich king of warcraft... It would be like taking a photo on the Frozen throne. Its very nice of the mall and shopping staff to give permission to make the video during business hours that too during rush hours.

As a resident of a small town in Russia, I can say that yeah, sanctions struck hard at first but it was for... two weeks or so? When prices skyrocketed, the market was in frenzy and such. But it calmed down pretty quickly. Asian imports started pouring in, western brands re-named and voilà - here we are. My town only has 2 or 3 big shopping centres. Yes, we don't have such an abundance of brands and products as in Moscow. But I just came back home from a mall and I can assure you that there are lots of people, lots of produce, lots of... everything. I literally laughed like a madman when hearing someone really thinks these crowds are all actors or something xD

Людей становится все меньше из-за все большей популярностью доставок, смотря на видео из глобуса видно людей в зеленом с надписью "Сбер-Маркет" они собирают заказы для доставки. Уже и не помню когда был в большом торговом центре лично, потому что удобней и быстрее заказать

This is my main shopping center that i pass through every time i come and go to Moscow. Especially on the weekends this place is very busy as you can see. Especially the hypermarket part. Russell.

I checked my coat as i walked in, plus the mall is heated throughout. So, it was easy walking around like i was. I planned to stay a few hours, i had dinner after filming, it was much more comfortable being in the center like that. Russell.

У нас в торговых центрах всегда жарко было и сейчас тоже так. Это ужасно! Хотя бы гардероб сделали чтоли, не всегда удобно одежду в машине оставлять. Особенно если припарковаться удалось далеко от входа в магазин (((

Russell, tell about the deliveries in Moscow. There are a huge number of them and delivery times from 15 minutes to several hours. People are shopping less and less, and everything is ordered online. Moscow is the city of fast deliveries!

We don't celebrate Christmas! We celebrate the New Year as a family holiday on December 31st. Weekends are 10-12 days, where January 7 is like Christmas for us, but this is an old Russian holiday that few people celebrate anymore. Reunite with the whole family.

The true birth of Christ is irrelevant to the Holy Spirit. He was known before He was birthed. It is still a wonderful time to gather with family. hope you enjoy your time too!

@@winnie8592 I dunno where you are from, but this is typically European. Quite every village has its little store, mkts and supermarkets are relatively well equipped all over the place. Big malls are a little out of fashion though.

Я бы не сказала, что Глобус - это магазин скорее higher price. Higher price - это больше к Азбуке Вкуса, например. В Глобусе достаточно широкий выбор практически на любой кошелёк, и простые жители там закупаются достаточно часто, по моим наблюдениям (кроме тех, у кого совсем уж маленькие зарплаты и пенсии, такие у нас тоже есть и не мало - ну и просто тех, кто экономит на всём, покупая, например, Красную Цену и иже с ними).

All of the restrictions were lifted earlier in the year. You will see one person every now and then wearing masks, but it's very rare. There are still cases, there still getting reported in the news. I think it's better managed now that it originally was. Russell.

They have a coat check at the mall in wintertime, so i left it there for the few hours i walked in the mall. I typically don't do that. but i thought it would be easier to walk and relax in the mall for a few hours. Russell.

In my opinion the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is better than the Huawei both in terms of camera and operating system since huawei has HarmonyOS without Google services. Samsung has Android which is definitely a more complete operating system. PS: Samsung also has a stylus

German and French companies have a lot of supermarket and hypermarkets in Russia. Auchan is the other main branded hypermarkets, there from France, they also own the Leroy Merlin chain of home improvement stores. Russell.
