Did This Pilot Crash Flight 5719 Out of Anger?
Ойын-сауық
Captain Marvin Falitz was widely documented to have displayed some troubling anger issues throughout his service. But did they play a part in the crash of North Link Air Flight 5719 on December 1, 1993?

For those who are unfamiliar with this case: it was basically discovered that the captain had berated the first officer so much that the FO was intimidated enough to the point where he didn't call out the altitude even as they were crashing. It's such a shame, because that first officer was one of the most dedicated in the business: not only did he consistently declare that being a pilot was his dream job, but he actually made his own navigational charts of every airport in the region and familiarized himself with all of their ins and outs (well above and beyond what's expected of a pilot).

The list just goes on and on!!!! I love the First Officer better for a few reasons Chad Erickson was an extraordinary young man who was very calm, excited and he was enthusiastic and had skills of making calculations and has a passion for his job since he's a very good pilot. It contributed to the crash in a big way, by making his co-pilot so demoralised or afraid of him by the end of the flight that he stopped asking for an explanation of the unusual approach manoeuvre the captain was attempting, so he didn't know what altitude they were supposed to be at, and he also didn't do the required instrument call-outs during descent. That guy had no business of having his pilot license.
*The camera crew survived once again!*
The Lead investigator also played David Wallace from the NBC show, "The Office".

This documentary series is made in Canada. *MAYDAY* AIR DISASTER. 19 seasons - 180 episodes - so far. I've seen most of them. Excellent.

@Toni Earl Me too. Season 20 is out now!!! I have a question for you since you've seen them all: does the same actor play Greg Fife in each episode he's in?

@@LisaMaryification apparently I'm not as big a fan as you are!😊can't say I've paid much attention to the names...just trying to solve the puzzle. I tried IMdb but of course they have used a couple thousand actors over the 20 m.imdb.com/title/tt0386950/fullcredits/cast?ref_=m_ttfc_3. Were you looking for actor (s) portraying Biography Greg Feith, former NTSB Senior Air Safety Investigator ? Looks like he played himself.
Why are there no closed captions? Smithsonian, please turn on closed captions. How am I supposed to know what anyone is saying?
Me wanting to learn how to fly: KZread: Your free trial on life has ended
I failed many times flying in GTA and still got my license so I’m not surprised
Road rage or is it air rage. This guy shouldn’t have flown

Exactly my thought too. They should have fired him on the spot of anger issues.
Where I can get the full video?
How the heck did his employer think he was a capable pilot?
