if your going to start throwing jigs get a Gloomis E6X real sensitive and not too expensive. i didnt throw jigs until i started using one and i fell in love with it.

I need to start using jigs more but yes my little home lake has a ton of docks and that is essential.

Have you used the Lews carbon fire baitcaster? And if so how does it compare to this. Because I’m tore between the 2

Will you be fishing FLW or BFL or COSTA this year ? I really enjoyed last year the co-angler series. There are a ton of folks loving the 13 fishing gear, I've stuck with Shimano mostly my entire life, but I love the idea of $99. Lol Best of Success and keep up your great videos.

Not sure on the BFLs yet for this year but i will be fishing tournaments of some sort for sure.

What's gear ratio is it? If it's a high speed reel does it have the torque to adequately handle big fish?

Have you ever used a sixgill? I’m thinking of the bogo they have

DrJ 303 I bought a Sixgill rod and reel at the Classic 2 years ago. The reel did not impress; many different issues. As far as the Rod, had the Flippin stick, and though not very sensitive, it would pull a tree outta the water. I do know that MLF pro Fred Roumbanis uses the Wraith reel and loves it!

I have some Revos but they are the SX and STX. Those have been pretty good. I actually won those if you haven't seen those videos.

I have used it in salt. The thing that you want to make sure is that no sand gets in it and you wash it off after use. most reels that are designed for salt are sealed and have less corrosive materials. if you can find this TX its a comparable price but the TXZ is designed for it but more expensive. amzn.to/3oTbqWq
