yeah teto's sv is great. its not the most realistic in sv catalouge but it has so much character compared to the others its easily one of the best

SynthV Teto is like when a series gets a time skip and the main character became badass and OP.

I doubt Teto will dethrone Miku. Miku is a worldwide known phenomenon, she's absolutely iconic and has a huge legacy. shes been known and loved through so many years, she's had so many concerts worldwide and her own video games, she appeared on other artist's shows, albums. I don't think there are many pop icons like her to this day. I love Teto with all my heart as well as Miku, but Miku has had so many different voicebanks and in my opinion people are still drawn to her more because of nostalgia, meanwhile Teto has had a bit of a smaller fanbase, Miku was always seen as the "main vocaloid", even though the vocaloid fandom isn't as active as it used to be, Miku is still known and referenced for example in meme culture. So, Miku as a character isn't very likely to be dethroned in terms of her popularity, however what I think could happen is people just could start using Miku's voice less in songs, as I've been noticing Vflower's songs have been getting more popular. The difference is that in most Miku songs her "character" is in some way present, i mean like visually (and her voice too ofc) but in most Vflower songs I've noticed that people don't put Flower's "image" in the music videos as much, so I feel like maybe the same could be with the Teto voicebank, people will use her voice but not her image, so she could feel less "popular" than Miku I'm so sorry for typing so much, I hope I didn't make anyone angry with this, I love both Teto and Miku and vocaloid as a whole has a huge place in my heart. I never really had a chance to talk about this so I'm dumping all my thoughts on here lol. Thanks and have a good day to whoever read through this far.

i agree with you! But theres also a veryy small chance that she could, yk? Since teto was created back in the golden age of vocaloid, there's so much nostalgia attached to her as well, especially since the fandom came together to create her character. She has some very iconic songs, was a huge meme back then, and is way more popular than half of the cryptonloids (luka, kaito, meiko) according to feb 2023 v synth popularity chart. But yeah , i dont really see her taking over miku right now. I do think one of the reasons teto isnt growing much in popularity is due to a lot of well known producers being in hiatus or not around anymore. We just need a producer to pick her up for popularity to strike, but also like idkk!! 😭😭 im just unsure

@@ed8763 yeah! i think i can sorta agree there is a small chance, since like i said before the most recent vocaloid songs that have become a bit popular actually have vflower used in the songs, despite vflower not being too popular in the history of vocaloid (maybe even a bit less known than teto herself) and thanks to those songs i see more and more producer make songs with them, so like you said if maybe some vocaloid producers starts pumping up some really good teto songs then i think she could gain popularity, just like vflower!

I can shamelessly say I like Miku way more (not saying i don't like teto, i love her), I used to listen to miku years ago but got back into her and it brung up so much nostalgia and i just generally like Miku's style of Happy Hardcore and stuff more than Teto's songs

I must say Tetos synth V is pretty amazing ! And how Realistic it sounded like her voice provider is a real treat^^ This may sound like a pipe dream, but I’m curious if Tei, Ruko or even other Vipperloids could have the Synth V treatment. Also keep up the great work on your covers with Teto, they sound so good with your vocal synth magic 🪄

I honestly love both the synth V Teto and the original, probably because of the amount of nostalgia I have with hearing the original, but I still like both :3

Unfortunately i dont think teto will dethrone miku. Her synthV is great but people are more enamored with the fact she finally has a commercial ai bank, and re-covering old songs already sung by teto. Unless someone makes a groundbreaking, super-popular hit original song with Teto SV, the hype will die down and people are eventually going to forget.

I was in my bedroom drawing when my best friend texted me that Teto was going to get a synth v voice bank and I SHIT YOU NOT- I ran around my house going EEEEEEEEE. My parents asked why and I told them and they were like “Ohh! Yay good for you :D” (my parents don’t have a slightest clue on who she is but they try to be glad for me even if they don’t know what it is)

I get why they made a NON UTAU Teto voice bank but give her a piapor NT bank because she is associated with miku sort of

Neither Piapro or Crypton have the rights to Teto. She was only in a few Project Diva games because permission was given.

You can make synthV voicebanks do growls with scrips that people make for synthV, I also noticed that you said you couldn't tell the difference between Joyful and Cute. You can really see the difference when you use instant mode, aka the actual AI of the voicebank, which I saw you didn't talk about. Another thing, sadly she can't sing in Korean, Only Japanese, English, and Madarin. Hope this info helps!

Hello! a few corrections: - i've commented this on your channel before, but Synthv has no korean - all other synthv ai have the vocal modes feature most other stuff is correct, i recommend you try out some other ai vocals as in my opinion teto ai is very, very low quality when compared to others. my recommendation is Mai as she is free for all pro owners!

I feel like Teto was Always ment to be the next Miku but never could , she was a utau and people never really used utau for original songs insted they used them for covers , teto never could rise to the spot she could have because her design being a miku mimic and her history of being a Vocaloid clone , I really like how the redesign makes teto look more original and better than her original design

I mean, you say that like Teto didn't dethrone Miku on April 1st, 2008 3:39 I mean, it's definitely different, but saying that she doesn't sound "Robot and Choppy" enough is only 1/4 right at best. UTAU Teto (At the very least the more modern one, but imo probably both) generally sounds better and more like Teto as a whole since, being KASANE Teto, aka Heavy Sound Teto, she has a strong voice that suits the nature of synths very well which is a big part of why she's the best vocal synth of all time. As such a translation to SynthV where the voices are supposed to more-so be replacements for human voices rather than synthetic voices with a separate timbre to that of authentic voices could only turn out so well, and from what I've heard there's definitely some good SynthV Teto but she needs some good care applied to her parameters and stuff. 7:17 Pretty much this (Which makes me more-so wonder what you meant by 3:39) 10:02 That's very interesting to keep in mind since SynthV Teto has her own strengths in areas and they also duet rather well together since UTAU Teto helps bring out the Teto in SynthV Teto

Thinking of the argument I had with someone that claimed Miku was dying because of Synth V and that producers would leave if she did not get an update. They also didn't think merch would mean she was still popular and thought concerts would fail soon because AI (Synth V) was going to take over due to being easier to tune. Wish I was joking

also vocaloid cost arm and leg now. Using vocal synths is expensive hobby. I Wellcome synthv because it cheaper. Also vocaloid struggles because it goes after professional musicians instead of amateurs.

@@spark300c tbh music sofware in general is expensive and for what it is, vocaloid is pretty cheap. some vsts go for hundrends just for a guitar pack.

I have her lite and like u said, it is worse quality but it's good for what I can get. I also agree with you, her voice in the program sounds too soft then I like but I also think that is so her voice would be as smooth as any other for the program since her voice in utau has choppy pronunciation

No one is going to dethrone Miku, If Miku came to SynthV, the same would happen as in Vocaloid, it would be the most popular and the reason that people know the program and the other voices.

So, here is my review/critique of your video about teto's synthv voicebank. dont take it as hate please I'd argue that teto needed vb on commercial engine like vocaloid(that would make sound her worse than any resampler for utau), cevio, synthv, we would've been fine with multipitch update or vb that doesnt sound like it was recorded on X360 headset and has good oto.ini and wasnt made by rendering reclist in utau used her CV reclist/edited in external software. Her talqu voicebank sounds like it was made out of utau renders ngl. The closest thing we have to vocal modes are multiexpression utau vbs like Namine Ritsu Nanika ga kire, since both are in the same single voicebank and vocal modes of AHS voicebanks are pretty bad, probably even worse than Anri's vocal modes imho, like with teto, they dont make any difference how they sound, or just quieter or louder. She's LQ, due to she sounds like she was recorded on very cheap mic, due to too many high frequencies or EQ'ed. DT voicebanks has the best vocal modes, expect Ryo and Saki AI. Btw, you get one free voicebank, Mai, if you bought Pro editor. AI voicebanks for synthv cant sing in Korean language, like you said and they can sing in Cantonese Chinese since 1.9.0b1 update and rap (if your vb has beta version) and importing english vsqx/vpr straight from vocaloid doesnt work since it uses different system to divide syllabes [+] is in multi-syllabe words to divide to another note (for example [hazy] [+] makes [hh ey] [z iy]) and [-] to make one syllabe/single syllabe word longer.

Thank you for letting me know btw! Unfortunately, I bought Synth V Pro from someone online who was selling it so I had no idea about Mai! Thanks for letting me know because I had no idea I got a free voicebank for Synth V Pro! I see btw! I saw the demonstration in December and I thought they could also sing in Korean, but I see that hasn't been patched in yet. Thank you also for explaining Synth V's English script btw!

@@WeebaLu if you think of xuu's korean covers, they were made using cross-lang, mostly japanese phonemes due to introducing cross-lang by note back in november (think of how vocaloid 6 cross-lang works)

RVC Ai that is important experiment test A.I vocal real voice to VOCALOID and Utauloid that problem is mumble voice, unnatural voice, total training epochs it is sounds corrupted solving issues i feels like he physically cannot even form words like computer human voice lines for example "robot said beep boop bap" sounds sheet music piano keyboard if you don't use AI to mimic your voice, you can use tunes vocal voice impressions so that we don't pick up on your voice and don't let anyone use the voice constraint on RVC AI. you should only listen to him when you can imitate the character of your voice in real life using tunes vocals voice impressions. But It is not A.I Voice Changer trust me.

Honestly... I like Miku and her voice well enough, but I wish she got dethroned already, if not in general popculture, then at least among producers. Her voice is honestly one of the weakest of all vocaloids/SV and holds up only because she has so many versions and additions. Her English version is pathetic. I find myself listening to many Miku songs, especially the newer ones, and wishing it was done with anybody but her.
