Looks for a cheap service, gets cheap product. Gets mad about it, and sues for nearly 10x the amount. If you don’t got the money for a wedding, which usually costs thousands for photos. Then don’t have one.

Completely agree. I spent $500 for my wedding photos and only got two pictures that was half way decent. However I also figured I got what I paid for. The photographer had some private personal issues going on at the time and I figured she could use the money. I got what I paid for. It never crossed my mind to sue her. If I wanted real professional photos I would have paid more.

Wow 😮 I paid $1300 in 1999 for a photographer which wasn’t much. It was his first professional event but loved his portfolio. He also let me choreograph most of my photos I am an amateur photography myself. He & his wife did loose a roll of film. Plus the camera his wife had, she took out of focus photos of the wedding ceremony over all I was happy with him. The first photographer I interviewed was a snob. When I said I want both color and black & white photos he scuffed at me. I was ready to pic up and leave then but didn’t. I wish I would have. It would have sent a clear message to him.

A friend of mine suggested to his sister that she hire me, a professional wedding photographer, to photograph her wedding. She hired some guy from Kijiji instead for an extremely low price. Just as the ceremony began his camera jammed and he didn’t have a backup camera (as I do as a professional) and she ended up with no photos. You get what you pay for.

I’m a photographer. All shoots will have some bad shots. Judy made the right call by saying she would conveniently pick the worst ones. But I’m also shocked she did less than 200. I get that much or more for shoots that are 1-2 hours. A wedding should have a lot more than that.

But in those 500, there will be many that are duplicates or just not usable (out of focus, someone blinking, and so on). But I would’ve liked to see the drive contents so we could see all of the good ones.

For $700 she got all 164 pictures and she is upset about only 10 of them? Had the photographer simply gone through and removed those photos, it appears the other 154 were acceptable. Many wedding photographer give you a 'package' deal-say 20 or 50 photos of your choosing. I've never hear one giving the entire shoot like this

I so thoroughly enjoy when a woman's "HER big day" production wedding turns to bollocks. It's never about the marriage..... only about HER getting attention. The best ones are when the groom literally dumps her at the alter, then leaves with a stripper. Woman up, ladies.... between "HER big day", rampant Wymynysm, and spousal extortion after the divorce, you're pushing men away at a record-setting pace! Marriage will eventually be obsolete, and then we'll see how "strong and independent" women aren't.
